Suds Up Well, Scent Leaves Something to Be Desired
For those looking for a more natural & eco-friendly approach to haircare, this Resaltz Shampoo Bar is the thing! Shampoo bars are typically made of natural ingredients & help save more water & plastic usage than their liquid counterparts. This Resaltz bar suds up well and is even designed with acupressure in mind, shaped with points & planes to press on various places of the head. However, I just can’t get past the scent of this bar. It is basil & seaweed, but smells somewhere along the line of crayons to me.This shampoo contains some nice skin & scalp care ingredients, such as niacinamide, chamomile, & panthenol. It also contains several cleansers, surfactants, & foaming agents. One of those is Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, which isn’t a favorite. In all, this is a decent shampoo bar, but as someone who loves scents, I personally will be looking for a more perfumed bar next time.

Good product
It’s a bit different using a shampoo bar soap. This smells really really herbal. I did not like the smell but it cleans well and my hair wasn’t hard or tangled after use. The soap makes a lot of foam making it easy to spread and massage the scalp. Besides the smell (I prefer flowery smells) this is a good product.

Great Shampoo!
This is a great shampoo bar that leaves your hair nice and clean! It has a nice scent to it and lathers in the hair well. This is a great option while traveling instead of having to worry about liquids leaking etc.

Come for the shape, leave with hydration
The box has a fold-out that wraps around the box but isn't secured, so if you don't intend to use this right away it may be pose issues in storage. I've been using solid shampoo for a long while but this shape was new to me. It can feel good using the point or larger curves to apply pressure but it seems a little gimmicky as the bar would obviously wear down. It's proposed for travel but geometrically shaped shampoo bars are more space-efficient.The bar has a light earthy/herbal scent if you get real close to it. It lathers well, cleans without drying, rinses out, leaving hair feeling more hydrated since it conditions. This may not be preferable for some people but it is convenient for travel since you don't need to pack two things.

Good waterless shampoo
My hair actually does feel soft and touchable after using this shampoo and matching conditioner. I was unsure how easy this would me, but it was no problem sort of massaging it directly into my hair. It was interesting trying to massage my head with the bar. I only used the point, but it sort of felt good, and also sort of hard, if that makes sense. I may try the wider parts of the bar next time.I think it lathered just a touch unevenly, but that happens with bottled shampoo sometimes too. I may precede this with a scalp exfoliator in the future so that my hair is more prepped and ready to receive the shampoo.I really didn't find the scent too overpowering. With bottled shampoo and conditioner the scent usually permeates the entire shower like a flower garden, but I didnt have that experience with this. Which is good, because the scent is odd, sort of earthy/grassy. But I have to purposefully smell the bar to really be bothered by it.This came in a cardboard box with no plastic wrap. I actually love that, I feel like I'm always having to break into my products before I can use them, but if you like a more tamper resistant seal you won't get that from this packaging. I personally and happy not to have to wrestle with shrink wrap and that this is plastic-free.For me, bars are for travel, but I can't wait to throw this into my carry onfor my next trip.

Nice eco-friendly bar shampoo
I tried a bar style of conditioner for the first time a few months ago, and was surprised at how much I loved it, so I thought I would try shampoo as well. The first thing that I obviously love about the bar style shampoos and conditioners is that they are much more eco-friendly than traditional liquid products packaged in plastic. It's also great for travel. This particular bar I like that it is shaped in a way that feels nice to massage into your scalp, which also gets the product into the scalp where it's needed. The shampoo itself has a subtle herbal smell. I do think that it's more hydrating than some other types shampoo that strip your hair, but at the same time, my hair felt a bit more oily between washes. I think using this type of shampoo requires a bit of an adjustment, but overall I'm happy with it.

Quality ingredients in shampoo bar
This shampoo bar came unwrapped in a tiny box. No issues, looks and feels great. Ingredients being awesome was my initial draw anf the fact that this is a great alternative to using plastic containers over and over again. Lathers well and cleaned my scalp. No stickiness or overpowering smells. Just herbal. Great for travel.I suggest you get a soap stand to rest it on and give a light rinse when done. So far, so good.Definitely new experience trying a shampoo in bar form.
