Ridgefield Waxes Enhanced Fragrance & Finish RS-102 All-Natural Soy Wax for Candle Making (10lb)

I make what best can be described as peanut brittle with this wax by using sawdust and peanut butter extract to put on mouse traps outside. If I used regular peanut butter it attracts ants. The mixture is all held in place by melting this wax and works great as bait.

I'm new to candle and melt making. This is the first wax I have used. I was worried the wax (soy) was going to be soft and mushy. Some soy wax feel like I could squeeze it into a wax ball. This wax is SUPER easy to work with, in both container candles and melts. Its smooth, clean, not mushy, and sets up well. I leave it over night and it's ready. It takes fragrance oils beautifully!! If you are considering using this wax please do. Its wonderful. I am purchasing more.

The media could not be loaded. I’m new to candle making but I noticed that there are reviews saying people who have been candle making for years turned out the same way mine has. Horrible. Wasted money on wax, dye, oil for this . I work for Amazon. Maybe it’s too much moisture and the way they’re storing this wax isn’t proper.

Great for candle making and easy to use!

Great candle wax for lots of reasons.First, I love that this is a U.S. based company using U.S. grown soy wax. I've used a lot of different waxes in my candle making and have often found that imported waxes can be oily and/or have a slight chemical smell to them. This wax I've found to be clean, smooth, and nearly scentless. In fact, the slight scent it does have is rather pleasant.Next, the wax has a smooth and consistent melt - aided by the fact that it comes in shaved flakes. This is so much better, faster, and cleaner than using block wax. It also helps you more accurately measure out the precise amount of wax you need to help reduce waste.The wax holds color well, though expect your colors (if using) to be a bit pastel/muted given the natural opaque white of this wax. Personally, when set, this wax looks naturally great so I don't feel the need for use of heavy colorants. Soy wax is best for container candles anyway - as opposed to pillars - so I don't think color is really all that necessary. For soy wax, it also seems to hold E/O fairly well. I pitched my scent at 150°F and it seemed to stick without flashing. Scent throw is about what I'd expect and I'm not seeing any oil leeching on the cured candles.The price seems comparable to similar quantities of soy wax, but this certainly has the quality behind it. If you're in to candle making, this wax won't disappoint.

This soy wax is well packaged, smells clean and melts very quickly. It's much easier to work with than some of the other waxes that I have used and it didn't have any unpleasant smell.Color and scents seemed to disperse well within the wax and I've been very happy with the candles we've created using it. I'd definitely order this again.

I've been making candles for quite some time now, and I've never encountered such a terrible wax. I've tried different melting temps, cooling times, pouring speeds, fragrance quantities, and more. I am very disappointed and not worth the purchase.
