These brushes are very useful. I bought these for an upcycling project. I used them with water based paint and the coverage was good, especially for awkward places and little dips and ridges. The brushes clean well under warm water and dry fairly quickly. I used the medium brush for wax and that gives a good spread too. There are a few loose strands of brush but easily removed. Also the bristles do pick up colour but if cleaned thoroughly do not interfere with next job of painting. The handles are a good length, feel comfortable and provide a good grip. Useful products. Would recommend.

Very good brushes

I recently used this Mister Rui Chalk Paint Brush Set for refinishing a few furniture pieces with chalk paint and wax, and overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. The set includes three different brushes round, oval, pointed, and flat which made it easy to switch between painting detailed corners, broad surfaces, and applying wax. The large oval brush quickly became my favorite for waxing. It holds the wax nicely and spreads it smoothly across the wood without leaving streaks. The bristles are firm enough to work the wax in, yet soft enough not to scratch the surface. The smaller round and pointed brushes were also handy for tighter areas and decorative trim. That said, I did notice a few loose bristles during the first use, especially when applying thicker wax. After washing and combing them out once, the shedding mostly stopped. The handles are comfortable to grip, and the brushes cleaned up well with warm water and mild soap. Overall, this set offers excellent variety and performance for DIY furniture projects. It’s not a top-tier professional set, but for home use especially for chalk paint and wax it delivers great results at a very fair price.

I was looking for some good quality brushes for my up cycling projects and these are good for waxing and painting. 3 different sizes help. Easy to clean too.

Great brushes for the price

Nicely shaped brushes. I used them the same day I received them. I like using them except for constant bristle loss and sticking to the chalk paint surface. Problematic. Bristle loss is the only problem.

Excellent quality, absolutely no shedding, gave a superb result on my chalk painted project. I used the large for painting and small for waxing. Washed in water and hung to dry, looks like new. Very pleased, nice quality wooden handles.
