will it work with asus rt-ac86u

Both units feature AI Mesh that will allow routers to form their own Mesh using or Access point depending on your set up. We deem this routers as 'extendable' I would recommend using the strongest Product be connect to home router via WLAN . Using our ASUS Router app, you can then add another router, mesh product as a mess product. If your running a wired layout, you can connect both units via JR45 and set the second unit to Access Point .
