Simple little package that did the job
Phone fell into a pool on holiday, although placed in rice for 10 days it didnt turn on.On return home, I purchased this thinking although its just silica and a zip bag, its worth a punt. It arrived in a couple of days and three days later the phone switched on! Happy days.Worth a go indeed! I've given 5* as its a simple get the job done package with no faffing about. I like that.I'd love it more if this were delivered more quickly via prime... I think its certainly worth putting the listing up, as i'd have happily paid the extra to get this quicker.Give this a go, it costs about a pint, but could save little fortune in repair shop bills!

Not as good as I would have thought
It's ok, I didn't seem todo much until I put some extra gel packs of my own in. The water moisture detector never worked at all.

My daughter submerged my phone in the bathtub, phone would not switch on and i was desparate. This brought my phone back to life. Kept my phone in this bag for 3 days and it switched on and now working perfectly fine.

My phone is working perfect (read the full review)
Hope this explanation helps you…..I foolishly dropped my Note 5 in clear bath water (no soap) for about 30 seconds. I immediately removed it, turned off the phone, took out the sim card and S pen (no removable battery). I blew compressed air into the phone to remove remaining water and submerged it in a bowl of rice overnight. I’ve read about the rice myth online, some swear by it, some not. To be on the safe side, I thought I might as well buy this phone rescue kit, as it was dirt cheap. So the next day I put the phone in the rescue pouch with the silica and humidity indicator. I left it for 24 hours. Conclusion:The phone is as good as new, I have been using it continuously for 3 weeks, and I have not had any problems whatsoever. Maybe it was the rice, maybe it was the clear water or maybe it was the rescue pack, or a combination of both. If you do drop your phone in clear water, the biggest advice, I can give you, would be to switch it off immediately, do not be tempted to turn it on, do all the above, have patience and pray!Note:24 hours after removing my phone from the rescue pack, the humidity indicator was still blue, I switched on the phone and it was all good. But I wondered if the humidity indicator actually worked, so I ran some water on top of it, and it did turn pink (see pic).

Relieved
Bought this pack last week as I managed to carelessly leave my phone above the toilet and an alarm went off causing it to slip off and dive head first in to the waters below!! Silly phone.Anyway.....it was fully immersed for a few seconds so I dried it off and covered it in rice.....in a bowl. I didn't seal it in anything just covered it in rice. It is an honor 6x by the way and at this point I was pretty worried as i've always been quite careful for it and had no issues. It was in the rice for a few days until this pack arrived. Just before I placed it in this pack I turned it on, removed the screen protector slightly and you could see a large strip of water damage under the screen, inside the phone. It was a big chunk too and looked awful.I sealed it in this pack after following the instructions (turn it off etc, but all written on the outside of the pack) and resisted the strong urge to look before 3 days! When I took it out the strip had completely gone from the screen and I am happily typing away now with my phone that is currently working perfectly! For the price and the results I have experienced this is absolutely worth a shot. I was doubtful at first in honesty but really glad I tried this. You may as well just taking in to account how reasonable the cost is.

Didn't use it but...
It's a great design and idea. I dropped my phone down the toilet out of my back pocket and tried to dry it out. While looking up what to do, a lot of recommendations said to try one of these rescue packs as well as the usual rice and hairdryer advice. I decided to order one hoping it would arrive quickly. The problem was it took ages to receive this pack. There was a postal strike after I ordered I think. So by the time it arrived I'd already paid out to get the phone fixed. So I returned the package to the seller and they were absolutely brilliant and refunded my payment. No quibble. Which I was not expecting! So I highly recommend the item from the quality of the package I saw, although not used, and for the seller who was straightforward and easy to deal with. A great experience. Thank you.
