All the pieces (627) were in the box including a few spares. Hubby said it was a bit fiddly to put together. All 4 legs which it stands on arn't really sturdy enough. They are just push-in plastic parts. The stickers were easy to apply. In general, he thought this kit was good value for money.

Brilliant! Great quality

After building a few lego technic and 3d models, i bought this because i never got round to doing one when they came out years ago and i have to say, i`ve been left a little disappointed. The biggest issue i had, was no end of pieces that just wouldn`t line up properly, but the biggest surprise for me, was that given this is a Meccano set, i was surprised by how many pieces were plastic, not metal, which actually resulted in me breaking one piece and having to buy a cheap set already built off another site, just for spares. So sadly, i won`t be buying anymore Meccano, because i haven`t enjoyed building this one bit!

Bought for Grandson's birthday. He started to build it at our house and I finished building it for him. He loves it and it has pride of place on his shelf.

Garbage. It's little wonder the kids of today don't know the brand when this is the standard it ships. Multiple pieces that don't align or that fit poorly. I stopped the build halfway through. I'm not going to waste my time trying to force pieces to fit and trying to adapt to the shoddy construction process.It's sad to see how this company has fallen behind everyone else.

as a collector, I haven't built this yet, but it looks superb quality, as you`d expect from meccano.

This was a great Christmas present for my Dad and he loved it, only downfall is there was 1 piece missing and no spares.
