These burner covers dispense the direct flame from the food cooking on the open grill and also shield the burners from excessive fat and oil from the cooking process, the originals had started to rot away as they were very thin, these are much thicker and of better quality steel, and should last longer.

I have what is now considered "old" - a B&Q Michigan 4 + 1 burner gas barbeque. However it works fine and is still giving good service. Unfortunately the heat deflectors over three of the main burners have corroded away (I put lots of Penrock over the deflectors to allow the fat to drip and flare on the hot Penrock for a good smoky flavour). I couldn't find any replacement parts until I came across these. They fit perfectly and the quality is way better (that's German engineering and manufacturing for you!) than the original parts fitted to the BBQ. Also the "roof" angle is slightly shallower, so the Penrock sits far better on the deflectors and doesn't slide between the gaps between the deflectors (which are also smaller, preventing the Penrock from falling through). I've used the BBQ with these new deflectors and I'm very pleased with the results - excellently cooked and tasting food. Great product and I would recommend. p.s. Unfortunately the ignition block on the BBQ has now failed so I have to light the BBQ manually, so if anyone reading this knows how to get hold of a new or replacement ignition block for a 4 + 1, then please let me know.

I ordered these when for the second time I couldn’t order the originals from outback and mine had rusted/rotted. They came promptly and fit perfectly. My only gripe is I’d ordered two as I needed two and when they arrived their was 3 in each box so I now have 4 spares, they will probably outlast the BBQ. I’m very happy.

We have an outback 4 burner bbq and all flame diffusers have rusted through. Tried to use the outback manufacturers website to locate replacements but was surprised how expensive they were plus having extra costs of p&p.We were delighted therefore to discover this product, which is pretty much the same dimensions and general layout. We decided to take a risk and purchase 1 to try it out. The product arrived very quickly and it was ideal, much better quality than the original in fact and a better price. As a result we have ordered 2 more.

Super quality replacement for original equipment. Feels like it will last every bit as long as the 10yr old original.
