Good for Soft Vegetables
It looks it has designed for soft vegetables such as zucchini. I had little trouble with carrots. Also, the length of Julienne strips are shorter than how it should be.

Disappointed
I'm rather disappointed by this cutting disk. I needed a carrot julienne and bought this since I have a Bosh stand mixer, however I was very disappointed by the results. Instead of getting little carrot matchsticks, you get thickly chopped up carrots, with a lot of pieces just stuck in between the disk. It's just not designed for hard vegetables and part of the issue is that the blades are on one side only.
