The equipment is swabbed and tested onsite as well as sent to an independent lab. However, I always suggest that anyone with allergy concerns err on the side of caution **Q: Is this gluten free?** A: Yes **Q: Can you use this to thicken frosting? Or to maje it more stable and does it include directions for that?** A: Yes, it is NOT just for royal icing! It even says so on the package: "great for stabilizing whipped cream, crusting buttercream & meringues". I use it to make Italian Meringue Buttercream. **Q: What is the expiration date please?** A: Hi! It depends on the lot number as we send in a lot to Amazon but the best by date is two years from date of manufacturing and we ship new production runs to them regularly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by on Reviewed in Canada 3 July 2026* Great meringue powder great for sugar cookies! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The BEST royal icing for cookies! *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 April 2026* If you’re searching for the best meringue powder for royal icing, you need to try Genie’s Dream Meringue Powder.I’m a cookie decorator, and this is what I use to make my royal icing—and it has completely elevated my cookies. The texture is incredibly smooth, it mixes up so easily, and it gives you that perfect consistency whether you’re outlining or flooding. What really sets Genie’s Dream Meringue Powder apart is how stable and reliable it is. My icing holds sharp details, dries with a beautiful finish, and doesn’t get that weird grainy texture you sometimes get with other brands. It also tastes amazing—which, if you know, is not always the case with royal icing. It’s light, not overly sweet, and doesn’t have that strong artificial aftertaste. If you’re a beginner learning royal icing or a professional cookie artist, this is hands-down one of the best meringue powders you can use. It makes decorating so much easier and more consistent.Highly recommend Genie’s Dream Meringue Powder if you want flawless royal icing, smooth finishes, and cookies that taste just as good as they look. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Game changer! *by on Reviewed in Canada 7 December 2025* LOVE this meringue powder, total game changer! ## Frequently Bought Together - Genie's Dream Premium Meringue Powder, 16oz (1lb) pouch - Morepack Clear Self Sealing Cellophane Bags,4x6 Inches 200 Pcs Cookie Bags Resealable Cellophane Bag for Packaging Cookies, Candy and Products - 400 Pcs Disposable Piping Bags 12inch Anti-Burst Pastry Bags, Tipless Icing Piping Bag for Cake, Cream Frosting and Cookie Decoration Supplies --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/505958104-creative-cookier-genies-dream-premium-meringue-powder-16oz-1lb-pouch](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/505958104-creative-cookier-genies-dream-premium-meringue-powder-16oz-1lb-pouch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
