Works great. Very sturdy. I purchased mine for my work badge about a year ago and it's still working. The snap to hold the ID is strong. No accidental un-snaps like others I've had. The clip on the carabiner is strong as well. It's a little bigger than expected, but not an issue for how long it's lasted me.

Heavy duty, very durable and I use it everyday I go to work! Highly recommend it.

I work in maintenance and abuse this keychain, and I love it! There's a reason I've bought 6 now. Upfront: the single downside is the latch will slip open as it's fairly cheap, meaning you can lose your keys (i have once, now i keep it in my pocket) because of this. If your handy it's an easy fix I'll detail below, otherwise I wouldn't recommend this for holding critically important keys. in every other way, this is a great product. the cable is VERY strong, the spring strength is high enough to support 10ish keys (what i have at work) but its not so strong that its annoying to pull out, the retractable length is around 3' which is very nice! And (this is a big upside to me, but some may view it as a downside depending on use case) the cable attachment is weak enough to where it will breakaway if it's caught in things instead of of yanking you along. For me, a tech who works with conveyors and machinery, I need a breakaway so I don't get sucked into machinery if somethings caught so I love that. This doesn't mean it's a weak connection. You got a give it a strong pull to break it, but it's not so strong it pulls you off your feet. It's still tough and difficult to accidentally break the cable connection. But if it's truly caught it won't take you for a ride. Also note that of the 2 I've broken so far in a year of use (again, maintenance tech as a job. Both broke due to getting caught in things, not due to being a cheap product ) have all broken at the cable to spring assembly connection. literally the only issue ive had is that the carabiener clip sucks by default. What Ive done is take a locking carabiener by ahiller and replace the current carabiener with that, and I have no more issues. Requires the skills to melt/shape/mold plastic components which I just do with a soldering iron. I just melt the plastic enough around the current clip to remove it, then slip the new clip into the resulting slot and use some Legos as meltable filler material to weld the new clip in place. Works very well with just a soldering iron as tools. If this came with a cheap locking carabiener it would be an easy 10/10 rating, and i would change this to a full 5 star review. but being able to accidentally lose all your keys and whatevers attached to this makes it just a 7/10 for me. I still highly recommend this, as for my specific use case and skills it's a perfect fit and better than every other product I've tried, but if you need to hold critical keys then this may not be the best option by default due to that clip. (Or just keep the keys in your pocket as I do, as a backup.)

I've had this item for about a month now. Gotta say the retractable coil works great! Pulls and retracts quite smoothly. From what 've experience so far it seems to be an improvement over the MNGARISTA Heavy Duty Retractable Keychain. I had this one before and retractable reel wouldn't retract all the way back and I had to mess around with it for it to do so. Further, the clip fits the loops of by pants better imo, I think cause this one is a bit bigger. If you're thinking about getting the MNGARISTA, i'd say get this one instead. That said it does have some scratches already, but it's just a plastic exterior so that's expected imo.

This is well made and comes in handy when I'm coming into work at 6:00 a.m. I no longer have to find my keys in my pocket when my hands are full. It seems heavy duty and it doesn't seem like it's going to break anytime soon. So glad I got it.

Very happy. Only negative is that the second card slot doesn't feel secure. I'm worried about losing that card but saying that, it hasn't fallen out yet.
