This book was baught 2nd hand. It was like brand new. Very pleased.

Patterns are accurate, assembly instructions are easy to follow and most don't take more than a couple of hours. Good for practising skills without using loads of fabric. First ever shirt yoke! Absolutely love this book. Made Luna for a little family member who loves dressing her in the new outfits that magically appear in the post every so often. Great way to use up scraps and offcuts and not have to feel bad about putting them in the bin.

The thing about this book is that you have to take your time, don't rush into it. I spent a considerable length of time researching and collecting all the items required (not expensive but necessary to use the correct things!). then read and reread the instructions in the book to make sure I knew what I was doing before I started. Have now completed my first Luna Lapin and her dress and she looks great. Already started on the next one, with 5 grandaughters this could take me some time. Great instructions, easy to follow if you take your time. I will try and upload a photo but I'm a bit of a diddlehead when it comes to technology - hence the sewing!

Fabulous book. Clear patterns and instructions. Some experience of sewing skills are needed.

this is a lovely book but would have to used by an experienced sewer as quite difficult to make- especially the clothes that I had to make several times in order to fit the rabbit

I thought I had purchased the paper book but got it on kindle instead but actually, I found it okay in the end. You can print off the patterns. I purchased the kit before the book (didn't know about the product at the time). The book repeats what the kit says but had I not purchased the kit, I wouldn't have attempted it. Really brilliant idea. Loved Doing it all by hand and it looks amazing. Gave it to a 1 yr old for Easter. A child could do this under instruction. It's a great way to learn a lot of dressmaking skills. I found the dress collar challenging but got there eventually (I know very little about sewing). I never got the bow right in the dress so instead I used the fabric for a tie and it looks in keeping. I'm def going to do more clothes. The kits were less than £20 (I think) and I would say it's a great gift for any age.

Ich liebe es. Das nächste lange Wochenende bei schlechtem Wetter kann kommen. Luna hat eine überschaubare Anzahl an Teilen und die Kleider sind einfach zauberhaft. Das Buch ist in englischer Sprache und hat neben den Anleitungen für das Hasenmädchen und ihren kleinen Bruder, noch zahlreiche Kleidungsstücke, einen Sessel und einen Koffer. Am Anfang des Buches laden einige kurzen Geschichten zum Lesen ein. Danach kommt eine kurze Übersicht über die verwendeten Materialien und Nähtechniken. Die Anleitungen sind gut formuliert und verständlich (halt in englisch). Falls dann doch mal Vokabel fehlen gibts Wörterbücher oder Apps. Mit eingefügten Bildern werden die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte noch einmal verdeutlicht. Am Ende des Buches kommen dann, ähnlich anderer Nähbücher, die Schnittmuster in Orginalgröße. Diese müssten dann allerdings entweder kopiert oder angepasst werden. Das tut dem ganzen aber keinen Abbruch, so gehen die Schnitte wenigstens nicht verloren. Mit ein bißchen Nähgrundkenntnissen ist das durchaus zu bewältigen, zur Not auch per Hand.

I found out about Luna Lapin from a lady I was following along making a Memory Bear with on YouTube and she mentioned Luna and that she'd also done a "follow along" sewing tutorial on how to sew her. I took a quick look and immediately fell in love! I saw that her tutorial was a few years old but decided to buy this book anyway and I wasn't disappointed. Everything about it is just so beautiful. The story, the illustrations and of course there is a pattern for absolutely everything, even her little chair! After Lovely Luna Lapin, I feel I will be obsessed and will have to make the whole gang!! I'm really happy I've found this little treasure and I will definitely come back and update my review after I've had a go at sewing her! But I don't have any hesitation recommending this book now at all.

tout ce qu'il faut pour pouvoir gâter un enfant. de la "peluche" à ses vêtements c'est vraiment un joli monde enchanté, où l'imaginaire enfantin peux s'en donner à cœur joie. Livre bien expliqué ( en anglais) mais facile de s'y retrouver même pour ceux qui comme moi n'ont que des notions. Vraiment un très beau livre
