Is Hammerite heatproof, ie for a log burning stove flue

If honest it's great paint,but for a log burner I'd get some vht (very high temp) paint!

Would this product be suitable to paint over oxidised aluminium? I have exterior light fittings that need spruced up.

I agree with the other answers to date. Get rid of loose corrosion and any grease. Apart from this, surface preparation does not have to be perfect. You will find that coverage is good. This is a good quick fix. Keep the rest of the tin (put the lid on firmly and give it a shake first) for any re-painting.

Can you use it to paint radiators?

I have never used it indoors, so I can't be sure. The warning blurb says that it's flammable, but that's probably whilst in liquid form. There is a help centre, contact AkzoNobel Customer Advice Centre on 0333 222 7171 if you have any doubt. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Is this paint ok to add thinners?

I'm no expert but I would have thought that adding thinners would rather defeat the objective of this paint. You might as well just buy ordinary black gloss paint which is MUCH cheaper but will NOT protect against rust and, of course, you will have to remove any rust first and treat that area before painting.
