Great Applicator
Works great. Just can't push down very hard or the motor slows down, but there's no need to push hard. Just be careful of splatter from the spinning action when you first apply the polish with the sponge. Try it outside first, and don't wear your Sunday best. After the first use, it was not so messy. A few minutes with the finishing soft brush will place a very nice shine on your boots. It saves me a lot of time. Doing a pair of boots will take me 10-12 minutes for a nice shine. I do it while my dogs are outside doing their business. Just wish they'd stop stepping on my feet when I wear my boots!!This will not give you a hand shine parade gloss look that you would get after an hour of work. Nothing beats a proper, time consuming hand shine. I love this product.

This item was ten dollars less on Amazon so I ordered it for my Dad for Christmas and he loves it. Uses it all the time.

great applicator
As an applicator it is great. The motor is not strong enough to get a decent shine. So I purchased a threestar buff shine electric buffing machine. With that combination of easy shine (to apply the wax real good) and the electric buffer ( to give it a shine that a shoe shine man could never do) they together work great. I put the shoes in a shoe stretcher to keep the shoes firm before doing these steps. EASY SHINE AND THREESTAR WITH A SHOE STRETCHER SHOULD BE SOLD AS A PRODUCT PACKAGE. That combination is unbeatable.
