Loved it so much, we bought a 2nd one!
These blinds are gorgeous. The perfect piece for our backyard door.We especially love the fact that it pulls and retracts from just moving the bottom instead of a cord. It makes for a much more sleek appearance. We bought a 2nd one to finish the other side of our window. With these, we can have privacy without sacrificing all our light. These blinds get 5 stars from our family

Smooth operator!
Full disclosure, I have not been able to install this lovely blind yet. Reason? I do not have a power screwdriver with enough oomph to get through the window frame. I struggled to remove the brackets from the existing blind and will need to have some help to get this one installed, sadly.I did set it on top of the brackets to test the pull action and it worked amazingly well. I just didn’t take any pictures or video because I had not expected to not be putting it up immediately. So, I have attached a short video showing the method of operation with it in my hands as a quick view. The movement is just so slick and has that great sound of blinds being raised if just a bit different of a sound. It stops when you stop so, you can adjust it to be opaque to the unique “zebra” stripe that allows for a more visible view with the light/dark zebra lines. The blind is a ‘solid’ fabric or more of a coated fabric I would say - it is somewhat hard to describe but, it is nice to have no slats that worry about bending or breaking. I also love how well it goes into place when you stop the gentle lift to get it into your preferred position or to raise it to fully open. The top housing is made of metal, possibly aluminum, and is well constructed, no sharp edges or quality concerns here. Overall, the whole blind seems to be very well made, high quality, and I am so anxious to get this installed to test it out more and hope to look at buying more for other windows that need blinds - I love them!

Pretty, but does not replace blackout shades.
Wife liked these and they were easy to install. I've installed curtains, vertical blinds, cellular shades, and vinyl roller shades to name a few. These are most similar to the vinyl roller shades. The zebra style is cool, and the all covered and half covered is neat. Unfortunately, the bottom of my window opening is in the half see through and half not, so if I want non see through I either have to come up a bit or pull it outside the window frame and down lower. The true test was at night, I had my wife take a picture while standing next to the window with no see through. As you can see, my silhouette is easy to discern. Something for you to consider, as these are not total blackout and does not cover you up like vinyl roller shades do.

Was hard to install, there is a bit of resistance when pulling down the blinds
First off, it was pretty difficult to install these blinds, mainly because the wall screws that came with it wasnt very good at all. I think the screw was too small for the plastic that you are supposed to insert into the wall or the window frame area that you plan to install the blinds and when I screwed mine in, the screw wanted to slide out without much resistance. So I fixed that issue by using a different thicker screw and that fixed the problem, it did take a bit of time to locate some thicker screws.Once that was finally done, I was able to slot in the blinds. The blinds look great and I love the fact that when I dont want them down, it tucks away within the container on the top so its away from dust.Pulling down the blind is a bit of a challenge as there is a bit of resistance when doing so, I was hoping it would slide out a bit easier, so just to be sure, I always slide it down with two hands instead of just one. It is also a bit noisy when sliding it.Overall I think these are still beautiful blinds and definitely adds some class to my window, but the installation was not easy for me and it doesnt slide down as easily as I would like
