My girlfriend’s 2013 Jetta lost a headlamp. After buying two new bulbs we installed them finding that despite the change one was still out. We moved the working one to the other side of the car with the headlamp still not working. By doing this we found out the part that was causing issues was the adapter. I purchased these adapters as it was a solid deal and came with two! Surely one had to work and unfortunately neither worked. If you want to fix your issue on the first try do not purchase this product. We ended up buying a more expensive single one for 30 dollars and it worked no issue. Headlamps are important and this product will not do you justice.

Neither bulb retainer functioned when installed. The part was a perfect fit for my 2012 Volkswagen GTI but did not function when installed.

No tools required, 2014 VW Passat had intermittent headlamp issue and tried this part and it was a 5 minute repair, removed the bulb and put into this new piece and put it back in and problem fixed.I received 2 qty. I gave a 4 because the tongue is a tiny bit longer so the rubber cover has to stretch a bit over it....but cant complain as I probably saved $200! and didnt get a police ticket!! .....4- 5 STARS..... 2014 VW Passat Front Headlamp

I read the previous reviews about fitment issues and decided to order anyway, but for my halogen headlights on a mk6 gti they fit just like oem and get the job done. Quality wise do feel cheap and bulb had trouble setting in at first but made it work.

Had some hope despite the reviews. These did not work in a 2011 VW GTI or a 2014 VW Passat. I needed them for the GTI. When they didn't work on that car, I tried it on the Passat. Tested against working holders and good bulbs.

Fits perfectly on my 2014 VW Passat. I had light going out on my driver's side low beam intermittently. After I found out that it's due to the headlight socket, I found this product on Amazon and it did the job for me. The handle is little longer than the original one and makes a little bulge on the plastic cap but it's OK. I haven't had any problem with it for the past few weeks I've been using it.
