Q: Does the pedestal table come with both chairs or only the table?

The two chairs comes along with the table. I'm very satisfied with the set. You have to put all items together however. But it was very easy to assemble.. I'm very satisfied with the dinette set..

I believe some of the chairs can be purchased in pairs without getting more tables.

Q: Are the chairs put together already

No. The chair back and back legs are assembled. You have to screw in the seat, and the front two legs. About 5-10 minutes a chair.

Q: What size is the circle rug under it, in the sales picture?

I have the 36" table top model which I have sitting on a 5' 2" across (radius, not circumference) circular rug. When the chairs are pushed in all the way the back legs sit 5" from the edge of the rug all the way around. The chairs in the sales photo are pulled out so that rug must be at least 6' across.
