Tire dressing-works great
Good price, quick delivery, works well. Put some dabs on a pad and rub on blackwall. Not shiny or dull.

Nice sheen, doesn't fling, a little goes a long way.
Nice combination of looking clean, but not too shiny while lasting a decent amount of time (though it seems to vary by tire make - Michelin vs Continental for example), and not being drippy wet. Easy to apply too.

Ceramic tire coating
It is easy to put on but is not very shiny. It seems to last but not shiny enough for me

SNAKE OIL IS THE PERFECT DESCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!
After a REALLY bad experience with GRIOTS Ceramic Wax, I fell for the Ceramic Tire Dressing pitch. I understood it HAD to be applied to CLEAN rubber, so I also bought GRIOTS Rubber Cleaner, as well as Rubber Prep. After scrubbing my tires with Westly's, and Dawn, to strip all prior coatings, I cleaned them again with the two Griots cleaners, and allowed them to dry. This product is REALLY thick. Wiping it on as suggested with a foam applicator, didn't allow it to get in the thousands of indents, and sidewall grooves. I had to go back, and slop enough product on the foam to get it into these features. I then had to go back over EVERY indent and wipe it out, so I didn't have green-featured tires. I have NO PROBLEM doing these extra steps, if I can get a satin finish that lasts a LITTLE longer than my last dressing, by The Chemical Guys.I drove up onto 2 x 6 blocks, in order to reach the entire sidewall, and allow it to dry, so my new driveway didn't get covered with tire shine tracks. After drying for three hours, the sun was out, and I had a look at my finish. The gloss was a lot more than the satin I expected, and as I touched the sidewall, the product was STILL WET!After shaking my head for getting sucked into yet ANOTHER bad Griots product, I took a rag, and buffed the tires dry. As I rolled off of the blocks, I left 4) GRIOTS Tire Dressing tracks, on my new driveway.Time will tell if this lasts any longer than The Chemical Guys, whose Tire Dressing DOES dry, and doesn't require a "Finishing" step, hand buffing all the tires.
