Thick and very absorbent
This is an incredibly thick blotting paper - at 300gsm it has the heft of cardstock. I got it for using with a rolling blotter and was a little worried it could be too thick (yes, yes I should have read the product description) but I didn't need to as it was super simple to fit - I think the thickness actually helped hold it in place whilst I screwed the plate down to hold it in place. This pack of 10 sheets is going to last me such a long time. It absorbs wet ink really quickly and efficiently and can be used over and over again before needing to replace the sheet.I just started using a fountain pen again and this stuff is a lifesaver - I have even started writing my to do or shopping lists with pen and ink and this blotting paper means no more smudges because I was too impatient to let the ink dry.
