Love it!
I was really sceptical about this laptop after reading so many mixed reviews. So much so,that I actually attempred to cancel it but it was too late. Well, I can honestly say I'm so glad i wasn't able to cancel it.Its super fast and very user friendly. The initial updates took a while to install but it was worthwhileThis is my first Asus; previously always had HP. No regrets. Its aesthetically pleasing, sturdy and I love it. Bargain price too

Great budget laptop
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the ASUS Vivobook 14 E410MA, and it has been an excellent choice for my everyday computing needs. The sleek and lightweight design makes it incredibly portable, perfect for taking to classes or working from different locations around the house. The Full HD display is crisp and vibrant, making it enjoyable for streaming videos and viewing photos. What I particularly like about this laptop is its efficiency and functionality. The Intel Celeron N4020 processor, combined with 4GB RAM, ensures smooth performance for basic tasks such as web browsing, word processing, and light multitasking. The 128GB eMMC storage, while not massive, is sufficient for my needs and ensures quick boot times and fast access to files. The inclusion of Windows 11 Home and a one-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 adds great value, providing essential tools right out of the box.On the downside, the laptop's performance can lag slightly with more demanding applications or heavy multitasking. Additionally, the keyboard layout, while functional, takes some getting used to, particularly the placement of the arrow keys.I primarily use the ASUS Vivobook 14 E410MA for schoolwork, online research, and multimedia consumption. Overall, it has exceeded my expectations for an affordable, everyday laptop. Highly recommended!

Very Poor Performance for even basic tasks
Only reason I bought this product is the colour pink. However, that was a huge mistake. Don't buy this if you need any light processing power. Opens in about 5-10 mins. Updates in about 1-2 hours. Barely opens website like YouTube. Lags when you type in basic microsoft applications like Word. Who is the target audience? I have no idea. This product should not exist and is literally an e-waste. Get a very cheap tablet or a refurbished laptop and you will not have any headaches. Thank me later.

Uninstall Microsoft 365
fantastic, this is the 2nd one i've owned (the first was an 11.1inch 720p version). Really it needs 8GB of RAM to run windows 11, the solution to this is to install Linux (Mint-Cinnamon preferably) - OR - if you want to keep Windows 11 then completely uninstall Microsoft 365 as it's this that drains system resources. You would need to uninstall every instance of 365 (including every language) which takes an hour or so to go through each one, also remove all the programs you won't use to free it of bloat and then the system will run fine. You can instead download Libre Office (which is free) in place of Microsoft 365.You can not upgrade the RAM here, it is soldered to the board. You can upgrade to a M.2 SSD but in my experience you can not boot from it - only use it as extra storage. For £159.99 this is decent value keeping in mind how little power it uses, if you need a laptop to only do light work then keep it off Microsoft 365 or heavy programs and it is fine

Not really what I'd hoped for
I'm not overly impressed. It's not very fast, but I wasn't expecting lightning speed, and the battery doesn't last very long at all. I thought the touch/number pad configuration was clever but it is so annoying. It keeps opening the calculator when I haven't done anything to do so, though there have been times when I've accidently turned the number pad on so it's probably down to that. And I was hoping to use the number pad for alt+number pad letters and symbols, but it can't be used for that. it seems I can disable the touchpad completely, but I'm not finding a way to completely turn off the number pad. The on/off 'button' on the touch pad is too sensitive and it switches to the number pad too easily. It looks nice and is conveniently small and lightweight so as long as it's fully charged and I have a power bank with me, it's easily dropped into a rucksack and carried when out. The main problem for me is the annoying number pad. I definitely wouldn't purchase another laptop with it.
