does the case does not actually “snap” on like its called?

No, the case does not snap on, the weight of the mixer keeps it closed.

How much does the mixer itself weigh?

I found this mixer to be much heaver than I was comfortable using.

Could i just get a new set of beaters for this mixer have only used twice and one beater snapped off the top?

I received the mixer as a gift and one of the beaters broke the first time I used it. I contacted the company for a replacement and they won't do anything without an order number. I sent pictures of the beater and the box which I still had, since it was brand new. I would stick to a reputable company instead of this one.
