These work great with my food vacuum sealer. We use these pouches to portion up the dogs raw food for the freezer and have never had a problem.There are occasions when getting the 2 sides to seal has been tricky- I'm not sure if this is down to the vacuum sealer or the bags. I've found you have to make sure the 2 edges to be sealed together have to be very clean/dry (more so than with other products) to get a good stick,

I went on holiday and needed to take measured portions of soap powder and a powdered energy drink - these were perfect for individual portions and took up less space in suitcase than boxes/tubs - would recommend. Bear in mind the capacity may be smaller than the dimensions as there is the sealed edge which can't be used.

Fairly good quality for price, I've had no issues using them with a buffalo vac sealer.

These are excellent bags, they work well and are very good bags.

Hesitant before purchase, due to lack of seller support I held off purchasing these bags for my application as I could not be sure of Fresherpack’s claims that their bags were BPA, Lead and Phthalate free (compliant with EU directive 2002/72/EC “relating to plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs”, which appears to have been repealed in the British parliament back in 2002), and still have not been able to confirm the quality of material from their supposed Italian factory supplier as no certification has been forthcoming (so take that into account before purchase).However, my application was to keep the odour from one foodstuffs product from perfuming others in a controlled sealed environment. For this, I can confirm that the one hundred micron thick bag lining was able to achieve this, having tested it for several days under controlled conditions, there was no scent from the citrus zesty energy tablets that usually leaks through the commercial packing.As the bags come without any tear-notch or rounded corners I had to invest in equipment that would achieve this, in which I found that the flimsy 100um polymer didn’t allow the cutting mechanism to work as effectively on paper (of which it was originally designed for), however the dedicated tear-notch punch worked perfectly, and as the plastic was thin it would tear in the direction of least resistance as expected, it was just a shame that I had to do this myself, but for the price to quantity I could not complain.I was also able to write with a Sharpie permanent marker on the exterior without the strong solvent odour permitting through to the foodstuffs. One side of the packing is more opaque than the other (not seen in this image) and is therefore clearer for writing on.I found a heat seal to be secure enough in just one second after sealing (three second delay, for those interested), with an air bubble vacuum around the tablet bar whilst clenched in my fist, to be sure of a good seal.I do recommend this product, but not for use in direct contact with foodstuffs, until the seller can confirm the factory certification to confirm their safety claims.

Okay, but whether pre-packing or in manufacture, some of the bags have had curled down openings. However, they are well packed and good to use for bulk cooking.
