Wasn't the right length for my 2013 Whyte t129 SCR so had to use the existing tube but the two outer bearing houses are spot on.

Great Product

I find these last about four to six months on my bike. They start to seize if the bike has been sitting for a while and when you free them off they are a bit rough. I've never had one on a bike long enough to develop any significant play. I have tried regularly popping off the seals and relubricating and this does extend the life a bit but not hugely. The bearings seem to get water inside and I'm not sure why, I don't use a pressure washer in that area. I do live in the Scottish Borders so perhaps it's just all the muddy puddles.I've tried more expensive BBs and have had them last longer but the economics don't stack up. I do feel guilty but at this price I'm happy to just bung a new one in every four months or so.

Poor quality play in bottom bracket buy a 3rd party one instead or fo shimano

I work as a bike mechanic. All of these entry level external bb's are about a 6 month working life, which is fine if you have Shimano ones at £12 each, but SRAM cost twice that, so it gets 3 stars for costing too much for a throw away part. Personally I'd fit a wheels manufacturing one with replaceable bearings... Costs more but will last 3 times as long and be repairable.

Not the best BB you can buy. I seem to kill them within six months or 2 or 3 multi day off road session.

Surely you won’t spend more than $50 on a bottom bracket to fit your GXP crank. I bought this one to replace my old one and it’s doing it’s job. Even the product description shows it as being gray It came out to be black which suited me better.

Ottimo movimento centrale nulla a che vedere con altri di qualita' minore,si sente tutta l'affidabilita e la qualita Sram,montato su guarnitura trutaviv tripla da gravel,ottimo l'unica cosa un consiglio e che i cuscinetti vanno ingrassati per bene con grasso,movimento centrale molto fluido e ben solido!

Usé este eje de pedalier para unas bielas Sram Force 1. Tuve que añadirle un espaciador de 1mm.El sistema es muy robusto y fácil de instalar y mantener.

Habe das Lager jetzt seit ca. 300 km drin und kann nichts schlechtes drüber sagen. Einbau war bekannt einfach, lediglich die Kunststoffhülse musste ich vom alten Lager nehmen, da die gelieferte zu lang war.
