I kept trying to make dough with the wrong hook because I was too cheap to buy one. Boy was that dumb. My bread is so much better since I started using this hook. It saves time and elbow grease. Plus you can see that window effect that they talk about in bread recipes. I'm glad that I purchased this hook. Seems to be quality.

Works for my Cuisinart precision master 5.5 quart mixer! So happy to find a stainless steel dough hook, it’s definitely heavy but who wants the aluminum garbage these mixers come with?? That’s toxic in my opinion. So happy this works with my mixer even though it says it’s for kitchen aid.

Fit:Needed a specific part - replaced an enameled cover dough hook for the stainless steel because it wouldn't have enamel to chip away.

This item is not fabricated properly. It is bent. It hits the side of the bowl, and the problem is obvious when you compare it to a KitchenAid original dough hook.
