I bought the medium “used like new” option a bit skeptical what would turn up. I was pleasantly surprised as it’s in excellent condition with the tags still on, so definitely worth considering this option. I haven’t used it yet but seems to be sturdy and good quality. I didn’t want to spend too much on a suitcase because it’s only for one trip but also wanted to feel confident it would hold up being a check in bag and actually protect my stuff. This suitcase is perfect for that.

I purchased this suitcase immediately before taking an international trip in March to Turks & Caicos then on to Miami, and Ft. Myers before heading home to Kentucky. It is lightweight, which is very important to me, and the wheels roll smoothly and easily, even with a full 50 pounds. It is easy to pack and hold things in place as well. I have used the lock on the suitcase too and it is easy to operate and I like knowing that things in my suitcase won’t be taken out or the suitcase rummaged through. I have not had a TSA notification in my suitcase, which makes me very happy. It is pretty durable, and fairly scratch resistant. I have a few marks, but not scratches. I highly recommend this suitcase.

Very nice piece of luggage the only minor problem is that it appears to be a discontinued model from Samsonite. It is not shown on their website and the lock is slightly different than shown on the website. The reset button is not where the Samsonite video shows it but it was easily located and the combination was easily set.This is my first new piece of luggage in about 30 years so it will be learning experience to pack. It is very light and appears to be sturdy. Time and trips will tell.

It took me a long time to like hard cases - I always wanted to stuff one more thing into my bag, and so 'liked' that I could 'stretch' a soft sided bag.But years of air travel have cured me of that, and I much prefer the security of a good ABS case.This case is roomy, and provides a number of useful zippered compartments and dividers to assist in packing and organization. The handle extends to two stops, good for both me and my wife. And while I prefer to have two wheels when alone, as I walk fast, this case and its four wheels does a great job - it rolls freely and easily when running on two wheels, but it also maintains its poise when using all four - and four wheels is much easier to handle when we have more stuff!Overall a great addition to our luggage!

Disappointed—Wheel Broke Immediately on First Use!I purchased the Black Samsonite Omni PC Hardside Expandable Luggage expecting durability and quality, but I was completely let down. I was traveling in Thailand—my first time ever using this suitcase—and within minutes, one of the wheels completely broke off! Now I’m stuck on a three-week international trip dragging around a wobbly, uneven suitcase, which has been a nightmare.For a brand like Samsonite, I expected much better craftsmanship. This feels like a cheap knockoff rather than a reliable piece of luggage. If this is the standard now, I won’t be buying Samsonite again. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere!
