True to color and picture. Purchased as part of a Halloween costume. Princess by day, vampire by night!

Got the dress from Amazon too. The cape is nice and this color was so inexpensive for the quality. It is velvety and not too long. I am only 5ft tall and this comes to my ankles.

The blue of this cloak is beautiful. There is no lining, but the back side of the fabric is a similar dark blue so it isn't a problem. The hood is quite large, so it should fit over pretty much any hairstyle.

The material is great! It's a bit higher quality than what I was expecting, which is a good thing. I wore it when the weather was getting cooler, so it kept me warm! Worth the price.
