Does what I need
It has space around to mount to a wall and fits in a 6" hole, so it does what I needed. It suffers from the same problems as all hooded vents like this and does flap about in moderate winds although I have not felt any backdraughts. Once mounted it was also very difficult to get the hood to attach to the backplate. Although it should fit either way up I could only get the hood to snap into the back plate in one orientation. It is also a shame that it does not come with any screws as it requires very narrow (<4mm) dome headed screws. I ended up drilling the holes out to 4mm as these were the smallest dome headed screws I could get from Wickes that day in the correct size.

Noisy in wind.
Well made, but the flap makes an annoying plastic rattling when it's windy. I had to manually add dampers to it.
