Rather bigger than I thought it would be but that is a good feature. I think that the handle on the lid could have been smaller cos I had to raise the shelf above to accommodate that. Not a problem but it left me a shelf short. I would also suggest that you measure the width of your oven when ordering this model to ensure you have room to get your hands around the side handles. A super roasting tin which self bastes with the rack keeping the meat off the floor of the tin. All in all a sturdy roasting tin. I do wish though that the box it came in had an outer wrapping cos the contents of the box could be seen by anyone.

Replaced a not so ancient but chipped and sad looking enamel roaster with this stainless steel roaster. Worth the extra few pounds compared to the enamel roasters on sale.1. slightly larger and wire rack in the bottom is great for joints/chickens etc....2. cleans up 99% better in the dishwasher and by hand than the old one3. handles make it easy to remove from the hot oven4. not a great deal of evidence for the self basting feature - maybe because the lid doesn't fit that snuggly on mineBut overall - great Sunday roaster and pleased with purchase

I decided to get a non-breakable roaster after my 2nd Pyrex one broke when it was knocked out of the cupboard. I had used enamel ones in childhood, but I remembered them getting chipped and looking old, so I decided to try a stainless steel one with the drip rack as I always wish to keep the roast moist but above the fat and I used a little trivet in my old roaster. My husband washes up after I make dinner and he loves it as it is easier to clean than even the glass one he says and so far I have found he has done a good job. It roasts well and I don't seem to need to baste, or check on it for browning. An excellent product and excellent service from the supplier as I ordered it on a Tuesday and it had arrived in time to use on the following Sunday!

I got mine from the "Warehouse deals" which means it's been returned by a customer. I only paid £14 so for that price it may be good enough. There is another one from the same company, I will order that and see which one is better.The lid doesn't fit perfectly but it's good enough. It would press outwards along the length of the base which means it required a little force to put on or off, which is maybe a good thing but I would find that supremely annoying so I bent the lid slightly with a very large clamp in order to make it slide in smoothly. It's possible this was just a defective unit, I'm not sure. Basically, the lid oval was too round so would press sideways on the base oval which was a bit longer. But now they fit well enough. Still not great, there is a gap! For this reason I may end up returning this, because I want heat and moisture to stay inside for making some nice vegan dishes.The base and lid appear to be stainless steel, but the internal grill is not. It is some cheap copper coloured metal coated with some silver colored metal.

Lovely roaster. Just too big for my oven when side by side with my other toaster. Nice size otherwise.

Good size and quality, great for a lot of our needs

Holds a large chicken with room to poke veggies around it. Lovely and easy to clean. Suggest you check that you have enough room in your oven as the tin is quite high with the lid on. Overall very pleased
