Q: My plug is permently wired to my tow truck the light does not work any ideas why

Most of the time it is a bad battery or a blown fuse. If the light only works when plugged into the charger then the battery is bad. There is a fuse in the charge plug and a fuse in the light. Those would be the next thing I would check. Go to Towmate's website and you can find the troubleshooting instructions. The light has a lifetime warranty and the battery has a one year warranty from Towmate so if all else fails call them and get a return number. They will fix it and send it right back.

Es casi seguro que su luz necesita una batería nueva. La batería tiene un año de garantía y la luz tiene una garantía de por vida de Towmate. Llame a Towmate usando el número 800 en la etiqueta de la luz y deberían enviarle una batería nueva ya que solo la ha tenido 8 meses.

Sure you can, Towmate calls them Rubber Boots. I will add them to my Amazon Store for purchase.

We have them on Amazon. The SKU number is VZ-LNLB-PFWA. Or, you could purchase this one and send us a message that you want the 7 way RV transmitter. It usually works best if you send the message right before you make the purchase, That way we will be looking for it. Thank you
