Tricky to fit. Knocks rearview mirror
Does a reasonable job. (It has been incredibly hot here recently) IS tricky to fit without moving the Rearview mirror.

Great product highly recommend
I don't normally do reviews but after trying a few of the pop up sun shades that packed down to a nice size but didn't make any change to the temperature. I thought i should do a review to help people going through what i did. to get straight to a good product without the hassle. After getting this i was surprised how good the quality it is . I have a Toyota Auris SR , yes i know its not a big car but it has a long sloping windscreen 80cm top to bottom so this generates a lot of heat in the car, and the dashboard gets ridiculously hot. Most sun shades only go to 60cm 70cm but this one is 80cm and fits perfectly top to bottom, its has a nice cutout for your rearview mirror, the side to side is a bit big but i just let it go round the side a little bit so no problem. It has suckers that hold the top up what works well , but for extra support i put my sun shades down. Just in case. But the suckers do a great job.It blocks out all the sun and has really good insulating protection. As soon as you put it up you notice its doing the job its supposed to, Would highly recommend.

Does better job than the cheaper ones
I bought this as my car came without the option for athermic/athermal windscreen so I was using a cheap sun screen to keep the heat of the car in summer. As expected it did little to no change. As the Sumex is supposed to be 2 or 3 layers it does a much better job of keeping heat out of the dashboard/car. What I don't like is that sizing doesn't exactly fit my 2012 Renault Laguna 3. At first I bought the Laser20 Large which was a bit small thus I bought the Laser30 XL which was supposed to be the right size for me (good luck finding which size is the right one for you from the manufacturer, there's a list on the back of the packaging, but it's not provided either on Amazon or Sumex's own website). Sure, you can measure your windscreen yourself... anyways in the end the L is too small for me and the XL is too big. Not really an issue with the product as they cannot fit perfectly all cars that are made, most importantly the product works and works so that you can feel the difference. Suckers cups are not perfect as they look stable when you put it, but often I find one of them not 'glued' to the windscreen. 4 stars as no better alternative is available or... at least I could not find one.

I'm glad I only opted for the Large size rather than ...
Using this on a 2010 MK2.5 Ford Focus and it covers the whole screen with some spare around the sides but you get a little bit of a gap at the top of around half an inch which doesn't matter too much as I use the sun visors down to hold it up anyway. I'm glad I only opted for the Large size rather than the XL size as it takes a little bit of bending the screen around the rear view mirror which would be even more difficult on the larger size. The suction cups are a good feature and are nice and strong but I prefer to not use them though as they require more effort to pull off. The elastic loops on either end also make it nice and easy to fold up and store but I think it would do with something around the middle also as it tends to bulge out a bit. Overall I'm fairly pleased with the product as it does the job of protecting the interior from the sun, I just wish it was a little more durable as in the short time I have owned it the screen is starting to crease in places.

Check the size!
Had one of these shades before and they work really well. But, make sure you check the sizes. I measured my windscreen and thought I'd got the right size but the depth was too big and I should have got the size below, but that was out of stock. I just cut about 10cm of the bottom of the XL size and used silver duck tape to tidy the edges. Still a bit too big but I needed it pronto and had to accept I'd really got the wrong size. My car is a 2020 MK5 Mondeo which has a very large screen but the shade needed would have been 145x70.

It fits!
This fits right across and the depth of the windscreen. It definitely keeps the car cooler. I ordered XL for my Ford Fiesta Zetec. I dont use the suction pads as the sun visors keep it in place. Have had other makes which were not as sturdy.

Doesn’t fit
Marketed and even shown in the photos as suitable for a BMW3 series, this sunscreen is so large and cumbersome. It’s very difficult to get to fit in my BMW3 series..It’s too wide for the windscreen from the passenger side to the driver-side, and it’s too tall from the dash to the roof, causing it to kink when you try and fit it. It has to be held in with the standard sunvisors and overall I’m afraid I’m quite disappointed with the fit.If the fit was better, I’m sure this would be a good device, but unfortunately as is, I’m unable to recommend this product.

double check the size
good quality shade. durable. Double check the size of your screen. Don't base it on the guide shown in the product pictures. I have a Suzuki Swift. The picture recommended the 70cm. Thats too big. The return charges were over 3 pounds. So I ordered the smaller one and gave the unwanted one to my dad who has a mercedes.
