Excellent phone in "like new" condition
Phone is in "like new" condition with only several very minor blemishes. Fully functional as described. Much less satisfied with seller experience and fulfillment.

Would not reccomend
Phone started having battery issues and also started randomly restarting no matter what i was doing and no matter the battery percentage and has completely stopped charging. Phone came in and looked pretty much new other than some scuffs around the camera area. It works pretty good but there's issues with the full screen and how the keyboard comes up, for example if I'm commenting on Facebook the keyboard covers up the comment section and I can't read what I'm typing. This happens on most apps that I use. Seems like it didn't want to use the bottom inch of the screen. This was not an issue with my old Google 7 Pixel Pro.

no scratches, battery seems like they put a new one in
The five stars are for the condition of the renewed phone I received, and for how happy it will make me until the updates stop. The cost per month for a dream phone until then is low, but I should have bought an 8 instead. I was thinking of open source as some sort of magic wrapper that would let me keep using the apps and hardware features I have, instead of the reality of no Play Store. Since I dual boot Linux with Windows, I should have expected that. I read about the 7's heating issues too late. Not a gamer, I stay in Extreme Battery saver, with 71 apps greenlit, and 139 suspended, their icons grayed out until I temporarily wake one up with one extra click, when needed, use the Thermal Monitor app by Rollerbush, and run cool enough. I don't miss not running full out, because everything looks and responds great. After I have to buy something else, open source operating system with a browser that runs web apps would make this 7 a nice thing to have around the house. original review follows: Five Stars I have a Pixel at last! Pixel 7 Pro, 5G, US Version, 256GB, Obsidian - Unlocked (Renewed). Since I think I will be able to switch it to open source when Google stops my updates October 2027, this might be one of my best purchases ever. Anyone who doesn’t want to switch over then should spend another hundred dollars for an 8 Pro to get two extra years of updates. Mine was from The Phone Guys, and it was mint! - scratch-free. 7 is too old for built-in battery health in settings, so I downloaded AccuBattery, paid $3.99 to make it pro, and left it running. Right off the bat it estimated the capacity at 5,000 mAh, which is 100%. The accuracy of that estimate increases over time. The app help pages said to charge up from below 15% to 100% to calibrate, so I had some running down to do, because it arrived 92% charged. The AccuBattery report after charging from 14% to 100% was good enough (92% of capacity, and they say wait 5 cycles for a more accurate take) to make me think I got a good battery. If the phone, especially the battery, doesn’t hold up, I will amend this review. If it holds up, and the conversion to open source October 2027 turns out OK, I’ll be in the market for a battery replacement instead of a new phone in three or four or … years.

Only downside is the battery.
I bought the phone and it is in good condition. It was very dusty and was not factory reset for some reason. The finger recognition is awesome and it works really well. It is easy to grip, yet I noticed that my hands get very slippery and sweaty, so it kind of falls out of my hands without a case. The size is perfect for my hands; I can reach my thumb across all sides. The appearance is super sleek and I love it. It is super easy to use and learn, and the camera quality is really perfect. The only downside that I am seeing is the battery usage. When I got it, the battery was near the end of its lifespan because I got a notification saying so, which is a real bummer. There is also a very tiny crack on the bottom of the screen. You cannot see it while the screen is on; you can only see it when the screen is off and you look at a very specific angle.

My first full-time android phone, made me forget I had an iPhone.
What a fantastic phone. I was a die-hard iPhone user and had a Samsung Galaxy as a backup phone, just in case. I didn't want to upgrade my Samsung, and wanted an excellent camera phone, and kept hearing how good the Pixel was for basic photography (on my long walks, there are a lot of photo opportunities). I decided to get a refurb'd 7 Pro to test it out and see how I liked it. WOW. I was never this happy with my Samsung - the user experience overall is superior to Samsung IMO, and on par with the iPhone ease of use. I set up this phone with everything my iPhone has re: apps and settings, and quickly forgot I even had an iPhone - this became my primary phone within a matter of days. iPhone who? The camera on this phone lives up to the hype - professional level controls on a phone! I've taken some great shots both indoors and outdoors, and it's a great little phone for when I'm out and about and see something interesting (I'm comparing this phone to my Canon and Pentax cameras - my other camera phones have never been this good). The Pixel camera is just a hair or two below my professional cameras. Again, my opinion, but this is just what I needed for capturing great shots to post online or use as a basis for my drawings. No issues at all with this refurbished phone, after a month or two of use, so very pleased.

Phone in "Excellent" Condition Has Bad Camera
Purchased a phone in "excellent" condition. Aside from scratch marks, which I can live with, the front camera is super messed up and can only take blurry pictures. You can see the clear issue with the front camera from this photo. This is NOT okay.

Stay far far away from this vendor
Store does not stand behind their work or products. The phone I purchased from them starting overheating and screen began blinking and glitching after less than 5 months. When I reached out asking for assistance, they did not offer any solutions or troubleshooting attempts, and would not exchange the item. They only recommended I take it somewhere for service...a new phone. Stay far away from this vendor.

Amo pixel
