A well developed successor to the previous model, of which I have several. If it proves as reliable then it’s a big fat thumbs up from me.

Leaks like a sieve!

I have the earlier model running an irrigation system and it has been brilliant, watertight and easy to set up. When I wanted a timer to top my pond up, I therefore looked for the same item. My original wasn't available, but this version was. As other people have said, it won't function properly because the threads, in and out, are USA not UK standard. The top will leak and you probably won't get a connection on the bottom. Amazon should point customers towards the correct adapters to make it function. I have returned mine because I did not want to mess about ordering adapters when I was not 100% sure which would fit.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. As others have said, this is for the American market (ships from the USA) and the threads for the input and output are not UK standard so you can't connect it. The American sellers are going to take a huge hit on delivery & return costs for every one returned. You would think they would have worked that out by now and included UK adaptors!

Bought this as a replacement for my previous one which died after five years. As others have said, it's absolute rubbish. It doesn't screw onto the tap tight enough and water sprays everywhere. Totally useless.

This is useless. The brass coupling cannot be tightened and water sprays everywhere. I thought that by buying an Orbit for 20odd £ rather than a cheap look-alike it might actually work as well as my other 7 Orbits bought 6 years ago, but it seems I was wrong. Didn’t think to check it before use and now I can’t return it. Furious! Wanted to leave no stars but not possible. DO NOT BUY.

Absolutely 5 stars! I'm still using this same type of faucet timer that I've had for probably 10 years. I recently needed another one for the front yard as well as the back so I was so happy to see that this same faucet timer was still for sale on Amazon. It works perfectly. It's easy to figure out how to use, even without the instructions, which btw, are very well written in Englsh. I love the simplicity of it. Just turn the big knob and set the time, how long, how many days, etc....SO EASY!!! I used a little plumbers tape on the end where the hose attaches too, and some on my faucet and there are no water leaks whatsoever. I have them both running for 3 hours daily until my gardens are done for the season. I can't say enough good things about this faucet timer. Love it!!! Also, I received it the same day that I ordered it.
