Sol Beauty LED Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier w/Large 1.3 Liter Capacity for 7+ Hours of Continuous Use

I was a little skeptical when I first opened the box because this humidifier is a lot smaller than my previous one. But man can it kick out some vapor! 100% satisfied with my purchase. I bought two. One for my living room/kitchen and one for my bedroom. The colors are just so calming and relaxing. Not very bright so it would be perfect for a night light in a child’s room. It has a little tray where you can add essential oils. I don’t use it because I have diffusers all over my house for that, but it’s a nice bonus. One thing I don’t like is that it has a filter that you have to replace every 500 hours. It’s not a big deal, just an added cost that I have I keep up with. It’s definitely better than cleaning out my hot vapor humidifier every use though! Between the low cost, smaller size, and quality of the product I would 100% buy again and recommend this product.

I love the soft LED alternating colors this unit has. I like the side tray option to add essential oil. I love how quiet it is. I knew it was a smaller model, but for on the lowest mist output, I can get about 8 hours of operation. The reason for only 3 STARS instead of 5 stars is b/c I bought this model based on the description....and went back and checked the description that clearly stated under the SAFE & EASY TO USE section-it states: “and features an auto-off timer for when the tank empties!” But when I got the unit, it did not auto shut-off when the water ran out. I pulled the little manuel out it cam with and could find nothing on this feature anywhere! Not happy about this misrepresentation!!!

I wanted a small humidifier to fit on my nightstand for overnight use, as our home has very dry heat and my sinuses are suffering. My first night using this, I noticed that a massive amount of vapor came out on the very lowest setting and when I turned it up all the way - it quickly created droplets on my nightstand. I turned it all the way down, still not pleased with the amount of vapor, but gave it a try. 7 hours later when I woke up, it was empty. I tried again the next night - made sure the unit was correctly sealed and on the base, but still had a massive amount of vapor on the lowest setting. This was at 11:00pm and when my dog woke me up at 1:05am, the unit was already empty and turned off. I gave it one more try the next night - again making sure that I screwed on the cap correctly and firmly, that it was in the base properly and was level on my nightstand, but still way too much vapor. I woke up early again to use the restroom (4:00am) and once again, it was empty and off.The advertising states it is good for 7 hours of continual usage, but that was not the case for me. At most, on the very lowest setting, it was around 2 hours. I imagine on the high setting it would've been maybe an hour. Perhaps I got a lemon, but this unit went back.

After using it, I noticed my throats was itchy in the morning. I thought it might be weather related & it continued. I then stopped using it all together, which stopped my sore throats. I started it again after a few weeks of non-use. Again, the sore throat came back this time a bit worse. Not to mention, my husband was getting them as well & since we have a ne born we opt not to use it anymore.I make sure I clean it every other day, but it doesn't seem to help.I was going to return it, but you have to pay shipping. So not worth it.

I've had it for less than a week, and I loved it until yesterday. It has leaked twice on me now. I'll give it two more days and update this review if things change, but right now, I'm not thrilled. It wasn't leaking a lot of water; it looked like it was just leaking what was left in the base after it shut off. But it's still enough to cause electrical concern.

Smaller than I expected for a living room which I bought this for, but it’s really powerful so not a big issue for us. It’s whisper-quiet. On medium settings it runs about 6 hours straight which is not bad for the size. The tank is small enough that I don’t mind refilling in. (We all know it’s a pain to refill the tank on these things!)

I order from Amazon all the time, and this is the first review I've written in 10+years as a customer!I am thoroughly disgusted by this product. I ordered it for my infant's bedroom and will be returning it. It looks nice, but it leaks, is difficult to open, and even more disturbing: every night after use a reddish/rust colored film remains in the base. It is literally caked in some of the small crevices and can't be cleaned. I think it comes from some of the rubber rings in the mechanism, but I'm not willing to figure it out myself. It is really disgusting, especially when you consider that is used for health purposes.

Bought this humidifier for the great reviews but it sadly is pretty useless. I’ve owned it 3 months and it doesn’t last more than 3 hours. Deceptive marketing saying it lasts 7 hours plus! Had to buy another one. What a waste of money.
