I love these and would recommend for diy projects. Easy to use, two parts come together to create a strong bond. If the cutting tool doesn't cut right through just finish off with scissors. The washers for the back can sometimes stick together and it's easy to use two by mistake (I drop the back washers on the table and they separate). The washer needs to be cupping upwards to receive the curling section from the front. Sharp tap with a hammer and ta-da !

Pretty good kit. The eyelets are a bit flimsy but the tools are good. Not bad for the price.

It's my first experience with grommets eyelets but it was very easy to use them. Just a few suggestions: - try first with some thick paper (e.g. cereals box) - use the cutter on a semi-hard surface (cutting mat, a piece of wood...) placed on an hard surface (tiled floor). - follow the instructions on the video. - check the direction. The two sides look different. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. Recommended.

A few damaged pieces and zero instructions with the product, had to refer to instructions here which I didn’t find totally clear not having fitted eyelets before. The hole punching tool was useless on the fabric I was using so had to hand snip holes. Pleased with eventual end result though.

Work well, just what I needed, and east to use.

Instructions were very limited. I wasted a few working out how to use the tools that came with the set. Also put a few dents in my outdoor table. They weren't really deep enough for the material I was trying to use them on - the description didn't really include that info, and I didn't know it was important until I tried to use them. A good whack with a hammer sorted it in the end, but some are a bit wonky. Still functional though.

During the recent storms, one of our outdoor table covers blew away never to be seen again! I ordered a new cover and on arrival used this kit to add extra ties, hopefully keeping the cover in place during any future heavy winds. The punch doesn't completely cut a circle, so you have to finish with scissors, but the rest is instant. The grommets look very neat. Would recommend.
