I'm Eastern European, brown hair, fair skin, insanely hairy. So hairy in fact that I had to shave daily, and would get stubble by the evening. I started using the Lumea Prestige in Nov 2019 and used it weekly (against recommendation) for a couple months in the winter. In about 2 treatment the hair was way less, and grew back one slower. I got lazy then during Covid lockdowns, but did so every once in a while when I remembered. For the summer, I was too tan using self-tanners (got a burn too when tried it, took months to heal...), so didn't use it in the summer. The hair slowly started coming back recently, but just a few treatment and good to go again. It's not permanent, the hair follicles remain, but I no longer shave!! Only a few patches of fine hairs, here and there. Just a treatment and good to go for a month or so. Again, not a permanent solution (like laser), but for the price, I am so so happy 👏🏻

It works, I have been using it for over a year, works great! No long delay between flashes, not sure what that review is about. It works great!

I don't understand how can a $600 device be this bad.. It says "It takes UP TO 2 seconds until the device is ready to flash again" on the device. I just had a session where I timed the first 20 flashes. The average was 18 seconds.. It ranges between 4 seconds and 55 seconds and this isn't the worst I had. I've had sessions where I had to wait 2-3 minutes between flashes. This is a great device if you have hours to spend and the patience of a fricking monk.
