I don't have other lamps to compare with this one, but I will say that it certainly works! I have been surprised by the heat it generates, and it seems to help with certain muscular and other aches and pains. The design is not a classic that will be in demand for decades to come, nor is the build particularly weighty (something to consider if using it on a table or shelf or some such - an anchor might be needed), but it serves its function well enough, and, at the price, it seems fairly solid. Very pleased, in all.

I bought the 100W. I think that some of the reviews that influenced my decision to purchase may be written about other models so wanted to leave a review. - I have not as yet noticed much change to pain, but think possibly it may be helping with rest/deep sleep? - the base is extremely thin and light so it easily falls over and the base material seems quite flimsy - the plastic grill over the front of the lamp also seems especially fragile and flimsy. I'm concerned it may break when I eventually need to change the bulb. - there are no switches nor timers on this model. You plug it in to switch on and unplug to switch off. Nothing more. - it really does feel warm - it doesn't heat the air but you can feel it heating your body which does make me trust that this is emitting true infrared light. Edit- came back to add a warning! The casing around the lamp becomes extremely hot and can burn. If you have young children or anyone vulnerable at home, you must make sure they cannot get near it. Edit 2 - after a year, I can say that I do notice a difference when I stop using it for a while, so believe it must be doing something to help general achey feelings.

Great when it worked but broke within a year. Good for sore spots but not good for big areas

Great product long cable you can tilt it and stand it on a table no timer easy to use plug it in turn it on and use the sung goggles for safety very well made product and good value for your money

I quite liked this lamp, until I realised that there is no on/off switch! I was going to use a mains power extension cable, but that has no on/off switch .. SO, to switch the lamp on or off you have to plug and unplug it each time .. stupid design IMHO

Die Verpackung der Beurer IL 11 Infrarotlampe in Form eines Pappkartons war zweckmäßig und bei Lieferung alles am Produkt in bester Ordnung. Es handelt sich um eine recht einfache Ausführung ohne Schnickschnack, diese genügt für unsere Zwecke aber völlig. Wir verwenden die Lampe sowohl bei Erkältung und Problemen mit den Nasenneben-/Stirnhöhlen als auch bei Verspannungen zur Schmerzlinderung. Die Handhabung ist einfach: Stecker in die Steckdose und wohltuende Wärmebehandlung genießen. Der Winkel des Leuchtkopfs lässt sich verstellen, so dass man die Lampe auch z. B. etwas erhöht hinstellen kann und die zu behandelnde Stelle trotzdem gut und recht zielgerichtet erreicht. Die Wärmeleistung ist gut, dabei bleibt sie sogar noch angenehm, wenn der Abstand größer ist - was ja besonders bei kleineren Kindern (unsere sind 1, 2 1/2 und 7) nötig ist. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist völlig angemessen. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen und empfehle sie daher gern weiter.

Appareil très fonctionnel et dont la chaleur rayonnante apporte un soulagement réel lors de douleurs musculaire ou osseuse . Ce n'est pas miraculeux mais simplement efficace. Je le recommande.
