This works wonders. I just leave them in as soon as I get home and over the course of 2 weeks my new shoes fit and feel just right.About what size to buy...Some of the reviews suggested that buying one size below was the best thing to do. I did this for a size 8, buying a 7 but it was a little small. I have to use 2 in-soles to get the correct tight fit for the stretching and fitting i want. I think buying an 8 would have fitted it well. So there is no hard and fast rule on what size you buy, taking into consideration the above.

Having seen these in a shoe shop on the high street at over twice the price, I was slightly expecting there to have been corners cut somewhere. However, they seem well made and are attractive but most importantly, keep your shoes in great shape. As a general point, I've never used shoe trees before but wouldn't be without them now. They are definitely worth the money to prolong the life of your shoes.

U can not ignore the high quality of this but the size is too big, i ordered a pair size uk 7 but it can not fit in any of my uk7 English shoes.(Trickers,Cheaney)

As above - but glad I bought, but I think shoe-trees that are for size 7 should range fro 6 to 8 in their length; the old style adjustable shoe-trees had this flexibility.Brian Clancy

Great product but watch the sizing. I found that I needed trees one size smaller than the shoes I got size 7 for 8.5 shoes and they firtted fine

..I got 2 left trees rather than a set which was disappointing, otherwise, this appeared to be a well made product. Sent back for a full refund
