I was getting so frustrated that I would make a sharp turn in the car, the cell pone would slide to one side and bump the cord, and it would disrupt the Android Auto connection and lose my destination and directions in the middle of a drive.Not anymore. This is a godsend. As others have written, it takes about 30 seconds or so when you first turn on the car to connect and show up on the screen, but after that it works like a champ. It works in both my 2023 Hyundai and my 2019 VW.My only minor complaint is that when I get home and I'm in the house, my cell phone keeps connecting to Android Auto in the car. I've learned to reach down and unplug it every time I shut off the car to go in the house. Sometimes I forget though and then get frustrated I have to go back out to the car to unplug it so my cell phone will stop connecting to the car.

After initially setting up this device with my Chevy Volt, it only worked reliably for a few weeks. Subsequent attempts to connect, even after complete resets, were unsuccessful. Not recommended.

It was very easy to set up. Just plugged it in and followed the steps in the manual. It was up and running in less than 2 minutes.

The adapter worked great at first. It after like 2 days of using it, my phone refuses to connect to it. I've followed all of the steps on the product pampflet and the tips suggested in the product description. None of them worked. I've unpaired it, left it unplugged for a day, cleared the app cache for Android auto, made sure I have no other Bluetooth devices connected, and restarted my phone multiple times. I get the "are you sure you want to pair with this device" menu pop up with the pairing code and the option to pair, click the pair button, and then it sits trying to pair until it eventually stops trying to connect.EDIT:Originally 1 star, bumped it up to 3 since it works now.After writing the original review, I left it unplugged up until today, so roughly a week. Got off of work and decided to plug it in and try it, but it was still in the connecting loop. Left it looping for like 10 minutes and then it randomly decided to give me a different pairing code. Clicked pair and boom, it connected. Had to go back into Android Auto and re set it up but it works just fine now.

So, here is my two cents..Pros:It works great.Super easy for a not tech savvy person, pretty much plug and play.Drove to and from Las Vegas to Bakersfield CA with no problems, never disconnected during the long and lonesome desert stretches of highway.Cons.I did unplug it at one point and when I tried reconnecting it, it asked for a password. It's 88888888 by the way.I ended up having to forget all connections (to truck and adapter) restart then restart my phone. Which then fixed the problem and it started working the way it did prior to disconnect.Hope this helps others.Overall, I love this thing!!!

Works with android and easy to use and carry with you. Clear sound quality and stable connection. Also come with 3m. Small and easy to use which I like.
