This is worth the money
This works exactly like described. If you freeze packets of meat, it makes the defrosting quick and efficient. The food stays submerged well. The chain is heavy and won't slip around like other kinds of weights do.

Not heavy or big enough
This chain kept sliding right off the frozen food package. It’s also not very big. Barely covered a quart sized freezer bag, which probably contributed to it sliding off.
