I am very content with all of the different colors and hues this came with, though I wish they were organized in a gradient because some of the shades look VERY similar to one another (that’s just me being picky.) They melt fairly quickly and adhere to the semi glossy, colored envelopes I use well. They blend and mix easily too. The size of each bead is average for a wax stamp melt and it takes about 3-4 of them to get a decent sized wax mound. It cools and dries quickly as well. I am satisfied with the quality of these wax melts and for the price you pay, you do get a really good deal.

I decided to splurge and buy this set of 145 pcs of sealing wax beads for my wax seal crafting. I love that there are so many colors to choose from (metallic/pearlized and non-metallic/pearlized) and that I can make up my own color combinations as well. I also bought a USB wax warmer from another vendor that came with a spoon and though it takes a while for the wax to melt down, I'm happy with everything overall. I don't have any thing to compare the wax beads to, other than my wax sticks from early 1990 which are more glossy enamel wax than the stuff that is sold these days, and the beads melt down nicely without smoking or ash (like my now vintage wax sticks). I recommend this wax bead set, and FYI, I used 3 wax beads for my 1 inch diameter wax stamp seals and it's perfect. I'd probably use 4 wax beads for my largest wax stamp seal, which is about 1.25 inches in diameter. Don't forget, if you intend to send wax sealed letters through the mail they will require an additional 40 cents for non-machine processing so they can be hand cancelled and stamped "non-machine mail" by the post office. The post office also sells a single stamp for this type of mail with is $1.03 each, if you don't want to make up the postage amount using multiple stamps. (USPS prices as of June 2023!)

they bend not snap. they give good crisp images. colors are accurate and very pretty

beautiful colors they melted easily

this set is amazing! there are so many colours of wax to choose from and the pearls are small enough that you can combine loads of colours together. whoever decided which colours are matte and which are shiny is definitely a genius. i would note that the spoon thingy is smaller than i expected, but does the job i need it too. you are given loads of tea lights to get started with too. i read some reviews that said the set was really flimsy but i haven't had this issue at all. i have so much fun writing letters and sealing them with this wax! usually use about 4-5 pearls for a large seal and around 3 for a smaller seal.
