I love that you can see clearly where you are walking and not bumping into another person. The umbrella covers way past your shoulders so you keep drier - no messy wet hair. This is the second umbrella I have had and loved using.

This is an expensive umbrella, no getting round it. Is it worth it? I think so...I carry my daughter on my back in a sling and this umbrella covers us both comfortably, keeping us dry without having to mess about with hats. Using this and my coat covers all my daughter so she is able to stay dry and warm. My daughter loves being able to see everything despite being under and umbrella and enjoys feeding the birds!When I'm using it by myself it comes down to about my elbows so nice and big and dry.It is lightweight and comfortable and doesn't get blown about too much in the wind. The shape means it won't get blown inside out.The plastic on the umbrella dome is nice and thick and feels like it will last.I'm not one for having brand name emblazoned all over my items (I don't want to be a walking advert, thank you) so appreciate that the only branding is very subtle on the umbrella clasp.It's lots of fun and always causes people to comment.However, it is very big to carry when folded up and so is a bit of a pain on days when you're not sure if you need an umbrella or not.But the biggest disappointment for me, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the handle and umbrella tip are plastic. They look cheap and have scratched very easily, ruining the look of the umbrella. I thought they would be metal or something like that, not the same plastic that you get on really cheap umbrellas. Seems like a bit of a cost cutting exercise.Overall, as it fits both my daughter and me (which was the primary reason for buying it) and makes us smile on rainy days I'm happy with it.

As many have said before (Anna being the best), I also didn't pay attention to umbrellas. Until last year. I saw it but couldn't afford it. I said to myself, look girl you live in Athens. It probably rains 30 days a year. You don't need it. But still... A year later and a cheap broken dome umbrella in my history, I finally decided. It's going to be Lulu or wet shoulders. And today it came to my door!+ delivered in a carton box, believe me it was a relief (especially for abroad buyers like myself). Last time I ordered a brolly it came wrapped up in a plastic bag and tata! broken. So fellow non UK citizens, don't be afraid, it will come safely to your door+ Metal handle. It's sleek and it doesn't get sticky+ smooth open/close mechanism. Being used to metal mechanisms with hard to push buttons, this umbrella feels like heaven+ quality PVC, thick enough not to worry it can be torn+ it doesn't turn the inside out, as most fabric ones do when the wind is strong+ it's big enough to cover 2 people+ it's absolute stylish. I don't have to say more, images speak for themselves- what hit me really bad is the plastic grey tip. It looks like metal on the pictures but it's not. It's plastic and it looks cheap. It's a pity because it spoils the whole luxury feeling- big to carry around (but if you're crafty you can easily make a nice long bag to carry it on one shoulder)- more grey than black. Seeing the pictures I expected the design to be black. But it's not, the cage is grey.- plastic odor (I guess that time after time it will wore off)- white powder thing in order to keep plastic cover away from colliding (I also think that it will come off with the first rain)I think that Lulu is an eye-candy umbrella, maybe over priced but at a fair quality. I don't regret spending my money on it.

I purchased this thinking it's pretty and strong. It broke in the first wind and rain.

Have loved this brolly for years, but left it with a family member.They liked it too, so I gave it to them and bought myself another.Keeps not only your head but also you shoulders dry and you can see where you are going!!Doesn't seem to be affected by strong wind either, so never blown inside out like conventional brollies.

Fantastic umbrella, great design and sturdy.

When i first saw this umbrella i knew that I had to have it! i spent a few weeks saving up some money so that i could buy it. When i got it i was other excited and immediately tried it out. i was expecting it to be a little wider, but it is as it was said to be. I'm almost six foot and it covers down to my chest but does not keep my backpack dry. I can also say that the lines and two birds on the umbrella are lighter/brighter than what you see in the picture, but i guess that doesnt really make a huge difference. It is durable and comfortable to hold so i would reccomend this to anyone who loves tye idea of looking good even in the rain.the reason i rated this 4 star instead of 5 is because it is really expensive, but i would say it is probably worth around £25 instead.
