Artway Genuine Natural Bone Folder for Paper Folding - 6" / 15cm, brown

This is an actual bone folder not one made of plastic.It sits nicely in the hand when using it and works well.I have used it on quite a few sheets now and it seems to be more hard wearing than the plastic ones I have used.The only minor glitch was a slight sharp bump olong one edge that scratched the first sheet I tried out but was easily smoothed with a very fine bit of sand paper.Overall very happy with this

This is one of the simplest yet versatile objects you could buy.Can help do so much, tap a stranger on the shoulder, squeegee water out of cloth, use it to press paper onto a print like a buff brayer, folding paper, creasing etc. It's light and handy in your hands.Cracking wee hing.

Absolutely great, used it for a few years now and its so much better than the plastic one i had before. I use it for bookbinding and some leatherwork and its great, exactly what you need

Use this for making handmade cards and it is now starting to crease beautifully.Like any bone tool it needs to be used and worn in to get it smoother and smoother so my initial thoughts were that it was both a bit rough and scratchy but it's now the friction that was there when it was new has gone and it is sliding and gliding very well.Tip is a little too wide to fit down some of my smaller scoring boards but on the whole this is a great value tool and once worn in a bit more will be even better.Nice weight and comfortable fit in the hand.

I got very confused by the plethora of choices for a mere bone folder and eventually came across this supplier. Having verified that the supplier is an art shop and they were offering just a bone folder at a reasonable price, I felt I would definitely get quality.So many suppliers are offering kits (everything you'll ever need plus the kitchen sink) at ridiculously low prices. Hence, can't tell if the product(s) are any good, especially when the reviews range from amazing to don't bother.I'll trust you'll believe me when I say, this is a good product and a decent price. And I look forwards to making some books with it.

Does the job but I don’t know how it will behave long term yet, as I haven’t used it enough to comment yet.

I was looking for a bone folder to fold & crease heavy Watercolour paper and this does the job beautifully.
