An Elephant & Piggie Biggie! (Elephant and Piggie Book)

We love Elephant and Piggie and to get 5 in 1 for this price is a bargain. We have a few Elephant and Piggie books already as gifted to us by some American friends. The ideas are simple, the characters are fun, the words are simple, the pictures are really visual. I bought this for Y3 readers at school who are really struggling with reading and who have grown out of all the books schools can put their way and need to see that reading can be a) something they can do and b) fun. My son was able to read them at 4 and hopefully will still be reading them at 94, provided he lives that long.

This is a wonderful book for early readers. I am currently reading this with a nine-year-old who has a very low reading age. The illustrations are really funny, so it's a good book for older beginner readers (although I'm sure younger children would love it too!). I also like the fact that it's a thick book, so it will take children a bit of time to read.

Great book. My children are fans of piggie and Gerald, this one is really good, featuring 5 stories. It was a birthday present for my 6year old, received with joy and excitement. Would really recommend it, particularly for getting children into reading and having fun doing it.

This book is great, love the writing style of Mo Willems... our 5 year old loves these stories before bed. We do chuckle at them...

My 6 year old reads these himself and loves them. He is not a big fan of reading, so a compliment to Mo Willems indeed. They are very funny, for any age.

My four year old grandson loves this, and is effortlessly learning to recognise the repeated words. He is lively and active, reluctant to sit and listen to any story unless he is exhausted, so he thoroughly enjoys acting out the stories as we read. We both love these stories.

The humour in elephant and piggies interactions together, is funny for both the adult and the child they are reading with.

C'est un livre génial pour les enfants pour apprendre l'anglais, ma fille de 3 ans et demie l'adore. Les phrases sont courtes et se répètent donc elle fini pour apprendre les constructions. En plus c'est instructive par rapport à l'enseignement de valeurs dans la vie. Il y a 5 histoires

実は絵が細かい！表情が可愛い＆面白い。テンポよく あっという間に読めます。レベルも簡単で ２才半の子も集中して聞けています！

Both my 3 and 1 year old love these stories and ask for them every night. My son loves finding that pigeon at the end of all the stories. Very well written and illustrated with good messages for kids. Highly recommend for any parent, great deal for these books.
