Good looking pattern, trying to get the red cover of the tape is difficult

I was a little disappointed that these were folded up in a box and shipped to me. Out of the box, they were bent in the shape of a “U”. I had to take my heat gun, lay them flat, and get them flat again. That is gently heating them. Tips Your car door needs to be washed and dried. You need a very clean surface. Let your car sit in the sun to warm your door. The adhesive will stick better. You need to put a straight edge on the car door to find where your car door curves out(see picture). Mounting them in the wrong spot will offer no protection. You need a sharp knife to peel the backing off the tape. It is VERY sticky. I literally had to hold down on the sticky part, and peel off the backing. Do not mount them level or use a level. My car slopes to the front end. Follow the contour of the door, that is lines on top and bottom. I measured from the crease of the door at the top to the door guard. You can lightly do a dry fit, and remove if needed. Once you have a good position. Roll with your palm across the door guard for a snug fit. Quite happy. The material is a hard rubber. My car is gun metal gray, and it matches up well.

Front door-piece size is 37 1/2 inches Long and the back door-piece size is 21 inches Long. Each piece is 1 1/4 inches at the tallest and tapers down to 3/4 inch at the ends. It is a hard plastic, semi-shiny and has tape all along the back- side edges. Clean your surface first and then use isopropyl alcohol...your door protector should adhere well and stay in place (like mine did for 2 months now). I believe this product will do what it was designed to do and wear very well (quality plastic). As pictured I attached them to a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage ES Sand Yellow. Really helps to protect and to upgrade the look of the car. Seller was great and quick and the price was good. Would recommend.

These looked great at first. I wanted to add a sporty look to my Crosstrek and I loved the way they looked. However, after about a week, I came outside to the passengers side and saw that it was laying on the ground. It had completely fallen off on its own. The others started to come off as well so I knew it was the problem with the glue. I kept having to worry about them coming off on the highway so I just said f it and took them all off. If you want to take the time to put your own tape/glue on, I suppose it could work. For me personally, I threw them away and bought from the Subaru parts department and haven’t had any issues with them falling off.

The product looks good on. However, the glue tape they use is useless as one of the strips came off. Luckily it wasn’t while driving. You must use 3m tape when securing the product to the car. I’ll recommend it as long as you take off the existing tape and use 3m.

This is a good product so far. I did order some 3m emblem tape and changed all of the tape out. The original tape was an off brand and I didn’t feel comfortable installing the door protectors with that tape. So far, the door protectors are still on after some 100 degree weather and 3 or 4 trips through the car wash.

They don't stay, stick quite well. They start coming apart after a few months. not a good product to buy

Molding itself is good, rubberish, but you need to get 3M double-sided tape for proper mount. Tape that coming with molding is not good.
