By The Fireplace is an irreplaceably gorgeous scent. It opens with a sweet, smoky, and sexy note of pink pepper. This gradually dries down to chestnut, juniper, and eventually vanilla and cashmere. It is, unlike other fire-based fragrances, such as Farenheit, By The Fireplace is an authentically cosy and woody scent. This is, without a doubt, my favourite scent to wear, particularly in Winter/Autumn. The accords of the scent are among the most infamous for Winter fragrances. This scent suits a more formal, and brooding person. Unlike its brother, Jazz Club, I'd refrain from wearing this on a night out; it's a far more intimate smell that projects far more. It has excellent performance, like most Replica line fragrances, being potent for 4-6 hours and still very much able to be smelt up to even 12 hours.

WELL i wasn't surprised. I had heard about it. so why not make a change .what i wasn't expecting. my fiancé loves it. and been asked many times wat is it . long lasting not overpowering. Game changer boys give it a go 10/10

The product is great but it's £37 cheaper in Selfridges so I feel a little ripped off :-(

It was by this point that I was questioning whether some of the Maison Margiela scents were authentic products, or if the creators had put them out there, to stress test what the most audacious fragrance was that they could get away with putting out, and people would still buy, purely due to the Margiela brand. By the Fireplace aims to evoke Chamonix in 1971, and is meant to smell like burning wood and chestnut. On that front, it achieves its aims. But my question is… why? Perfumes are supposed to smell fragrant, so why would I want to walk around smelling like a chimney? By the Fireplace does try to make the formula more palatable, but balancing it out with vanilla, orange blossom and juniper, but the firewood core is just too strong. On reaction with the skin, this concoction just smells of stale cigarette smoke, and that’s a smell that instantly fills me with unease.

El producto parece ser genuino por el lote y todos los detalles que hay en la botella y caja. Huele de mucha calidad en los ingredientes. Proyección media y discreta la verdad para mí gusto un poco escueta, aunque creo que por ser edt es normal. La fijación es muy buena y sus olores evolucionan muy bien. Para temporada de frío siento que vendrá excelente.

Looove!! Best fragrance ever

This is my third time purchasing this fragrance, and I love it just as much every time. I usually buy my fragrances from Sephora or Holt Renfrew, and even with the Sephora November sale, the Amazon price was still cheaper. I was a bit worried the deal was too good and that something might be wrong with it—but when it arrived, it was exactly as expected. The scent is authentic, not fake at all, and the packaging was perfect. This is a beautiful fragrance for Canadian cold winters—cozy, and warm. I’m so glad I gave Amazon a chance for this one. Highly recommend!
