Frontiers

I recently discovered Solar Fake not long ago on youtube when I was looking for some new synthpop music to get into. I came across tracks off the latest Solar Fake album Frontiers. I was immediately hooked and ended up ordering a copy. I am reminded a bit of Pulcher Femina except the music has stronger pop hooks. Frontiers definitely made a fan out of me. I definitely plan on buying Sven's music both past and present.

I do like this one. A little more material from SOLAR FAKE that overall ain't too bad.Favorite songs from this: More Than This, The Line Of Sight, Such A Shame, Where Are You, and my #1 Favorite from this one is "Under The Skies".If you enjoy GOTH/DANCE style music then you should certainly enjoy Solar Fake!

Excellent album and similiar to VNV or other Future pop offerings. One thing nice about this band is the vocals mix of mellow to harshness at the right moments. They also have great thought provoking lyrics. Check it out - Good darkwave dance beats and nice tunes. I hope to hear more from them in the future.

I'm not a big fan generally of electronic music, but I AM a big fan of Zeraphine and Sven Friedrich. This cd is basically Zeraphine with electro music and I surprised myself slightly by loving it. Whatever reservations I had about the musical style were easily outweighed by the quality of the melodies, songwriting and brilliant vocals, as always, by Sven - and the sheer beauty of the sound. My personal favourite is the last song, The Line Of Sight, which is just gorgeous, but the whole cd is addictive. This one and the other Solar Fake cd, Broken Grid, will probably be the only electro cds in my collection - but they're special cases - until the next Solar Fake!

ich bin auf diese band/cd nur durch reinen zufall aufmerksam geworden (danke amazon).bin zieml."geflasht" muß ich sagen, daß mir dieses tolle stück electro bisher nicht aufgefallen ist. und vorallem, wenn man bedenkt, daß das ein sideproject vom Zeraphine-Frontmann (?) sein soll, die ja bekanntlich reinen rock bzw.goth anbieten, dann ist es umso erstaunlicher, was man hört, wenn man diese cd einlegt.um es kurz zu machen: wer auf reinen electro/synthi/future-pop abfährt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. tolle kompositionen, hammer refrains, schöne abwechslungen zwischen schnelleren, aggressiveren und dann wieder midtempo songs... am ende eine wahnsinns ballade (wie ich sie mal nenne). und über das geniale cover von "such a shame" muß man nicht mehr reden.wer Mesh, Minerve, A23 und konsorten mag wird hier bestens bedient!

CD! Ich habe Solar Fake schon 2 mal live gesehen und mir nun endlich die CD gekauft.Ich finde sie sehr gelungen. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei.Höre die CD nun schon seit ca. 2 Monaten neben zwei weiteren CD rauf und runter.Würde sie mir wieder kaufen, allein schon um Solar Fake zu unterstützen ^^

Eine sehr gelungene CD, Solar Fake ist eine tolle Band, mit packenden Songtexten und einem umschwärmungswürdigen Sänger mit einer hammer Stimme!
