Excellent tool
It performs great.I use it in three areas: Voice dictation, Screencast narration and recording music.I've only had it under a week so far, but already it has saved me lots of time by reducing the number of errors I used to experience using a voice dictation software. The software performs so much better with this studio mic.I also use it when voicing over on screencasts for elearning, before there was just a slight discerning background noise (not noticable when I was speaking, but when I had stopped speaking it was there) now clear as a bell. Prior to this I used a fairly good jack plug mic and it did a job, but for the reasons stated above this has been an excellent choice, well worth the money.I've not had the time to use it for recording music yet. But one thing the SL 150 has over other mics is that it is not a desk top mic, you use a mic stand and this makes it more versitile for using when standing etc.

Simply AMAZING!
Where do I even start with this microphone, it's just brilliant! Clear and crisp sound from such a cheap condenser mic. After the purchase of this condenser I also bought a mic stand and a pop filter just to increase the versatility of the microphone, for both it cost me around £22. Don't think twice about this microphone, in my opinion it's the best on Amazon at the moment from the price range £1-£200. Just a quick note I have been using this on a 21.5 inch iMac with Garageband and it works perfectly fine, also it states on the box it's compatible with MAC, PC, Linux and Universal.SUPER FAST DELIVERY

Its an okay mic
If your just starting out and want an easy way to record music or podcasts, this would be ideal for you! I still use it on many recordings. But obviously its not the greatest sounding mic out there, but definately does the job! Its hard to get your gain right though as you have no control over this so can easily lead to having a too hot or cold mic.

Doesn't work on Windows 8 or 10 dispite installing their drivers!
Very good mic that worked well with Windows 7. However, since upgrading my computer to Windows 8.1 this is the only device that will not work; the mic's driver (which is built-in) states it's 'up-to-date' but checking the Windows Device Manager it says ' Failed to load, code 10 error' - i've tried different USB cables; installed/uninstalled the drivers multiple times etc, but to no avail. After checking the Editors Keys website, it clearly states this mic will work with Windows 8. So having contacted them they provided me with the standard trouble shooting advice (which I already read from their website). They said that I would need to contact my System provider (i.e. Lenovo) to get advice from them - I'm sure Lenovo would charge for this!Anyhow, I've given up on this mic, it's an expensive piece of kit just to use a couple of times, only to find the driver won't work. When it did work, it was fantastic.

Great Mic Quality, Bad USB Drivers - Make sure you download the 64bit driver
I've had this microphone for about 3-4 years however it did have some problems at first! Its a USB microphone but i had a huge amount of issues with the drivers because its all 32bit based. If you can't get it to start check out here and MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD the 64bit driver link at the bottom. After that it will work perfectly for anybody on Windows 8-10. Its a really good mic and the quality is very good.(...)

A worthwhile purchase
Been needing a new microphone for a long time and after being set on buying a Blue Snowball, my friend recommended me the Editors Keys over this cheaper mic - needless to say, I am not disappointed. Beautifully clear and crisp audio, easy to set up and very polished - only complaint is the lack of stand, however this really isn't too much of a gripe. Overall, an excellent microphone for a decent price - you definitely get good quality from the price tag!

Sounds professional.
Don't know how much the radio stations pay for their mics but this one makes you sound perfect. My son uses it for making Youtube videos, voice-overs and just talking to his mates. It's cumbersome, though and not as handy as having a headset on if you're not bothered about the quality. But if you're into video making and have the right editing software (I use PowerDirector) then this mic makes you sound great. It's a USB straight in to the computer and off you go. If you want to use it as a karaoke mic it's no good unless you have a USB karaoke machine and the a USB mic CANNOT connect to a jack input. So if you have a video camera with a 3.5 external mic jack it will not work with it.

A fantastic microphone for the money.
The Editors Keys Studio Series SL150 USB Condenser Microphone is a fantastic microphone for the money. The microphone features a weighty aluminium build, and it feels like Editors Keys made no compromises when building this microphone. Sure, it's a slight step down from their SL300 variant, but at a price delta of $60, what do you lose? Well, you no longer have the -10dB option by rotating the microphone, a low cut frequency mode, and... that's about it. From my research and testing, the actual sound quality between this and its big brother is non-existent.The microphone comes in a hard plastic carrying case with two tight slide-latches. Inside of the case is some soft padding and a cutout for the microphone and its shock mount. The shock mount itself feels weighty like the microphone and fits the microphone perfectly. It also attached to my RODE PSA1 microphone boom arm without a hitch, and the whole assembly is supported just fine.Through my testing, the microphone sounds very crisp and clear, somewhat favoring higher frequencies. It is a perfect companion to my workstation and should last me years. If you are in the market for a USB microphone at the $150~ price point, look no further.

Editor's Key Studio series 150 USB Microphone
We have been using this product for last 15-20 days. Performance is excellent. The most amazing part is that we don't have to use expensive amplifiers and other recording equipment along with the microphone. We just plug it to our laptop and ready to record. You do need a good quality microphone stand with it though.

Good stuff.
This this is great, but you do need to be very close to it unfortunately. Pickup drops off close to 6-8". Need to be right on it
