Out of the box the unit looks quality built; unfortunately, it only reads in gallons; kind of inexplicable why the input connector is brass and the output male connector is plastic which did not squarely fit any of my either plastic or brass female ends; stripped the plastic thread a bit and the female end did not squarely fit though I torqued it down and used teflon tape to seal

Worked perfectly.Just a tip if your using quick connectors the male end has a grey plug in the unit.Do not remove or it won’t work properly.You will need to trim the outer lip of the quick connector where it mates up to the male end.You'll soon find out when you try to screw it on.The grey plug of the unit is in the way.Just again trim the inner lip where it mates up when screwing it on & everything will work fine.

There was no mention of this in the product listing otherwise it would have got 5 stars

I’ve never used one of these before so I don’t have anything to compare it with, that being said for the price this seems like a really nice unit. I’m using it to measure the amount of water flow through my portable 8000-grain water softener, and it works great and feels decently well built. It has a handful of useful features, including the two most important features for me, which are: it keeps memory of total gallons between battery changes, and it automatically turns on when it detects water flowing (I know that I’d forget to press the on button half the time, thankfully not required!). I haven’t done any detailed accuracy tests, but it seems quite accurate, and is certainly good enough for my needs. It states that it’s accurate within +- 5%

Great product! Use it daily for now my second summer. Tanks in RV’s are never accurate this allows me to take exactly what i need vs always “filling” the heavy tank. Allows me to take just what i need for the days i need to be dry camping.

I've always wanted to track the amount of water I'm putting into my rv. Not just the fresh tank, but the 5 or so gallons I like to put into my black tank before using it. Prevents piling. This little device finally enabled that and made it easier than filling a bucket and pouring it into the toilet, or sitting there counting the minutes and seconds trying to determine how much was going in thru the pressure regulator. Our pressure where we live varies. So far, it has been reliable, accurate, was easy to connect, and appears to be well made. They even gave me a plastic 'coin' to open it and install the battery that they supplied. It doesn't leak and is easy to operate AND read. It even shuts itself off after a period of time when it isn't being used. You know, like after you shut off the water but still leave the hose connected? 5 stars for me!
