How do Pearl Probotics compare with popular over the counter brands such as Align?

I don't know about the Align brand to compare it with the Enzymatic Therapy Acidophilus Pearls. What's the difference between these and the pearls targeted for yeast infections? This is a much better deal...

I have been using these for years (long before they made the other ones targeting yeast infections) to prevent yeast infections and they do work. I am prone to yeast infections because of hormones I'm on. Without these, I get yeast infections regularly. I have never switched to the ones targeted for yeast.

What is the difference or connection to probiotic and acodopolos?

Probiotics are live micro-organisms are found in fermented foods like yogurt and dietary supplements. It is believed to relieve or help digestion problems. Acidophilus is a bacterium (bacteria) that ferments sugars into lactic acid. They are found naturally in our intestines and mouth. And this bacteria/acidophilus in simple terms has the same benefit as the probiotics that we ingest when we buy live culture yogurt and take supplements. So if you buy milk that touts as having acidophilus bacteria, then you are going to drink that milk and has the power of live culture yogurt and supplement. I had been diognosed with ibs and the doctors said they couldn't give me any more medicine. So I have been using these pearls for years now and am very happy with them

Best thing I ever did. My GP said I had high blood pressure and a month after taking this product my blood pressure was down to normal limits. My recent blood sugar tests and calcium tests are also normal. I am sure this product is doing it's job and getting rid of all the bad bacteria. I am 64 and I have felt a lot better since I started to takr this product.

Good product for someone with no particular GI problems

I understand that different people react to different brands of pro-biotics, but this one has worked well for me since buying it a couple of Christmases ago in the US to counteract strong antibiotics. I have used some other brands and they seem to make me more bloated, whereas even taking just one of these in the morning before eating has a beneficial effect, even if I don't take them regularly. Now I'm going to experiment with taking them regularly and see what benefits there are. Just to be clear: I don't have IB or GI problems as a rule; I just don't eat the best diet all the time, and find these help me feel more regular.

Small, no refrigeration needed, been using for years. I take it with my first meal of the day but others may choose to take it differently. Has helped any & all of my stomach upsets. It's the acidophilus that works for me.
