I have been using this descaling liquid for 7 years, it is powerful and the bottle lasts ages. I Use it on my sage coffee machine and kettle, even though the manufacturer states to use a much more expensive descaling liquid. I use it weekly, because of the very hard water in my area. Absolutely value for money.

Great product cleaned my wetroom floor of limescale. Ordered a second amount 2 x 1 litre for future use and a neighbour to use. Second lot leaked, sadly. Not enough packing.

Sometimes a product description annoys me, and this is one. So much of claimed about it's eco credentials, which I am not disputing, but the supplier is in the bandwagon with this. There is an implication that this is something great, maybe new. Far from it. What's more, the advertising, is it deliberate (?) fails to tell you what it actually is. Because if I had known, I would not have purchased it. However, as I was desperate for a descaler I have kept it. I feel this is on the boarder of deceiving. This is old fashioned citric acid. Nothing new and generally being superceded by lactic acid. I assumed, I know never assume, that by the advertising it was lactic acid. There is a big difference. Some may feel I am going over the top, but I give a review, as I find. Also, although well packed by Amazon, the bottleing was not so good. The cap inner, usual card disk with metal facing had failed. Thus the card got wet and was seeping slowly along the cap threads. The bottle was wet, although not detectable until the bag it was in was opened. Than goodness it was sealed in a plastic bag. I struggle with this, did it deserve 2*? A harsh review maybe but confident in my comments.

Good size making it possible to to make the strength that suits my needs

Used on a large urn which had been neglected and built up thick layers of scale. Wasn’t heating up and water came out cloudy and gross. Now perfect!
