Does this seat move about after being installed and is it silent close?

Like all seats it requires to be tightened as with use it will lose tension. I do this simply when releasing the seat to wash under the shower head. A quick check to see the underside fixings are still secure. I wouldn’t say it was a silent close but I guess it depends how heavy handed the user is. It’s definitely one of the better seats I’ve bought in a long time in a family of 4. When this one goes I would definitely get another one.

Will it fit over existing fittings that are on the picture and is it easy to fit?

The fitting shown in this picture come with the toilet seat. It is just to illustrate that you can pop it off easily to clean underneath. It was very easy to fit - just a spanner or pair of pliers needed. The negative to it is that the seat moves. I have tried tightening it more but it has made no difference.

what dimensions are the screws? I need to get washers and bolts as the fittings have not worked on my toilet

We got new screws and bolts of Amazon just look for the same type but the toilet still slips over to one side.
